You used to teach or you have used them as a service?
How long do they spend with each person and do they do service for children as well?

I used their services, in fact still use them. I do not teach I used their services for my children. They spend 30 minutes with each child per day. We do 3 days per week and pay $50 (US) per month. But they can do 5 days a week if one wishes too. They are very organized and have teachers who speak English ( though not very well) if you so desire as well.

The teachers are from Pakistan but their Tajweed is good and Arabic style. I am in the US. They go according to the hours of the country you are from.

those of you that used online quran lessons for your kids … at what age did you guys start?
how was the attention span/interest/participation from your kids? did u supervise during lessons/sat with the kids?
any do’s or donts?

My daughter was five years old. In the beginning she cried a lot and I had to sit with her. We did the lesson initially for 10-15 minutes ( it was supposed to be 30 minutes) but then she slowly got better and now does it on her own and goes the full 30 minutes.

Tips: Do not push your child
Do not compare your child to child Z who finished the holy Quran at 7 years old. It’s not a race.
They will come around slowly even if they do resist at first, IA
The more time they spend on the Qaida the better they shall be IA at the Quran reading itself.
If your child is better at English than Urdu, make sure you ask for an English speaking qari ( yes, those academies do have them, even female ones). Communication is key, even if their English is not perfect, usually the kid understands enough. Do not think it will be a good way to improve their Urdu. This is not that avenue.

This is same like that when a Land lord die their children never work for money because they inherit money from there parents they never know about hard working , and waste there life in luxury style,
Same issue is with us we inherit islam from our elders and always saying we are muslims but never try to learn islam , and spend our life without any knowledge of islam. If you consult to new converter muslim, they will surely have lot of knowledge of islam because they work hard for seeking the right way of living, and then he study all religions.
