Living in VA, our choices are kinda limited to get our kids an in-person Quran tutor that would work well with both ours and kids schedule. Does anybody know any online Quran tutoring website, who have their tutors located in the US/UK/Canada?

Our family friend's son who is 5, takes online quran classes from teachers located in Pakistan. We live in USA but somehow timings are working out just fine as the teachers start their lessons after fajr their time which is after Asr our time. I am sure Niks (my wife) could come and share more details of that.

I know at least 4 family who are loving their online Quran tutoring set up. All the qaris are in Pakistan though. Do u want me to get info?

We (and couple of my friends) are using http://quranreading.com and we are VERY satisfied. Their fee seems to be more towards higher end among other service providers but Qari sahab goes extra mile so we dont have any complains.
Although Quran teaching is the main job, qari shab also work hard on my son to memorize him soorahs and also tell a thing or two from Islamic history almost everyday.
Their admin office is in Maryland somewhere but all the teachers are in Pakistan (most in Islamabad)

I am in talks with this one for my daughter. My son is already doing his with a Hafiz who comes to the house. But he is quite strict and also more expensive. Although there are many quran teachers available here in our mid size city who can come to your house or you go to theirs. Many people are swtiching to the online teaching primarily because of teh expense. This will be my first experince using such a site. The person incharge told me that they have qualified teachers from the Islamic University and also teach quas’ surahs and share Islamic knowledge too.

why don't you take your kids to local masjid where they teach Qur'aan on a daily basis?

Skype is more convenient. Actually there are many Quran teachers who come to your house to teach as well but their business has been down as the Skype academies are cheaper.

Munchkin is learning from a girl in Pakistan who also teaches the rest of my nephew and neices here. I was a bit reluctant to start with (hence took ages to get her started) but is working out really well. I needed someone who could understand/speak english with munchkin.. and the girl is doing an awesome job.
Also, she used to be part of an academy but I am paying her directly as the academy dont give the tutors all the money... or not enough.

me and my brother learn online Quran they never force to send fees and how much you send but we ask for fee they just say send it as you want we really like Lahja and talking way of this Qari Sab Online Quran

Equranacademy is the best, they take care of every day lesson and they give us calls to get in touch and discuss about the progress, this program is managed by Qari Syed Sadaqat Ali. The head office is in New Jersey, USA.
