Online Quran learning

Anybody has experience of using any of those distance Quran learning websites for their kids. Please share you experiences.
I am thinking to use it for my daughter.
Thanks.

Re: Online Quran learning

Mirch - a couple of my friends kids are using APNA Quran services - they are liking it. You can set your own pace and if you want you can add tafseer to it.

Again depends tutor to tutor. Parents still need to supervise.

There were some cases of tutors asking some personal information online which I think 8-10 may recognize as odd behavior but not 5-6 year olds.

I am thinking of using them for myself to brush up on my pronunciation

Re: Online Quran learning

Is there something that is more automated? Without the involvement of a tutor....because if supervision is required I am willing to do that and make sure that she is learning correctly.

I am thinking something along the lines of an audio-visual format.

Re: Online Quran learning

my daugther is doing online quran learning and so far its been great. but one parent has to sit with the child and supervise.

Re: Online Quran learning

Well there are also some free services available. There are free Quran classes given on paltalk messenger.

Re: Online Quran learning

Munza - I don't know what the system is called but they did a presentation at our local masjod. It's much like "read with phonics" system. It is guarteeneed to get you reading in Arabic within 6 months for someone who doesn't even recognize the alphabets.

No tutors - all online presentations

The program is structred for memorization (hafiz) - the presentation demonstrated 5-8 year olds that learned the entire Quran. Hard to believe unless you saw it in front of your eyes

I believe that program is also online (again the name escapes me but will check with others and report back)
