Aw thanks :)

I have studied christianity in depth- i have had a cursory overview of several others. But coming from a catholic undergrad and having so many friends of that faith helped me know it better. And within itself, there're so many variations that I never really ventured into others. I will learn more about them, iA!

^ the same version that KKK follows of Christianity and Bajrang Dal etc. follows of Hindutva. Doesn't mean that original teachings were bad

What i love about Islam is to worship one God. Secondly, pray, zakat, fasting and hajj are foundations of our belief. And Sunnah of our beloved Prophets and especially the last Prophet of Allah, Muhammed SAW. Also this is way life which beautifies life and hereafter of a Muslim.

yup but show me one instance where bajrang dal beheaded a human,killed anyone or made a rule that no women should go out without a male member?.

Some memory blitz..(taken from Bajrang Dal - Wikipedia)

  1. According to the Human Rights Watch, Bajrang Dal had been involved in riots against Muslims in the 2002 Gujarat violence.
  2. In April 2006, two Bajrang Dal activists were killed in nearby Nanded in theprocess of bomb making. The same group of activists were also suspected for perpetrating the 2003 Parbhani mosque blasts.
  3. In September 2008, a fresh wave of attacks directed against the Newlife Christian churches and prayer halls in Karnataka by the Bajrang Dal, as a protest against defaming Hindu gods and against religious conversion carried on by the Newlife Missionaries.
  4. The United States Department of State’s annual report on international religious freedom for 2000 and World Report (2000) by the Human Rights Watch labeled this organization as a Hindu extremist group. Paul R. Brass, Professor Emeritus of Political Science and South Asian Studies at the University of Washington, described the Bajrang Dal as Indian equivalent of Nazi Germany’s Sturmabteilung (SA)

I love the principle of equality, social justice, family values that have been highlighted in our beautiful religion. and I love bowing before just one God and no one else.
