Disagree to Pakistani “hot headed” would do anything just to take “revenge” of how Muslims are being treated in Hindustan.
It has never happened in the past as far as I understand. Need an example or two.
On the other hand… in Hindustan, Muslims have been treated inhumanely just because they had supported Pakistani Cricket team or raised Pakistani Flags in Kashmir.
I know it’s not about Pak but it’s very easy for a country to become a dangerous place for its minorities. Just read about idiots who felt so threatened by plans to build a mandir in Islo, that they have decided to stop construction. God forbid, a mandir in the Capital of Islami Jamhooriya Pakistan.
It may not have happened yet (Alhamdulillah), but that doesn’t mean it’s impossible. If extreme Hindus can make muslim lives miserable in the neighbouring country, who knows equally braindead fanatic religious people in Pak can do same thing to Pakistani Hindus who are just minding their own business, as retaliation or because they see them as anti-Pakistan?! It might not be on the same scale as in India, that doesn’t mean the danger is non-existent.
Every law has been misused in Pakistan at some point, that doesn’t mean they all should be scrapped. But that is another topic for another day. I consider the blasphemy laws of Pakistan to be very futuristic. I’ve never understood how come the following things can contribute to some scholarly or intellectual debate, let alone change of heart:

5- Disturbing religious assembly
7- Trespassing on burial places, etc.
8- Uttering words, etc., with deliberate intent to wound religious feelings.
9- Use of derogatory remarks, etc., in respect of holy personages.
10- Misuse of epithets, descriptions and titles, etc., reserved for certain holy personages or places
Scrapping that law means, opening the floodgates to far more false accusations and people taking the matters into their own hands. Today if just a single person is punished, abolishing the law would mean entire families will be punished. For example, in New York city if someone pees on the World Trade Center memorial, and the US government just fines the individual as only public urination law would have been truly broken. I think people will take matters into their own hands if that was to happen. Different societies have different things that they take very seriously and it’s best not to mess with those things.

I will try to refrain from making further comments related to Pakistan.
Not all laws need to be scrapped. But some laws should be modified. Or maybe scrapped. Discriminating against someone on the basis of religion should be unlawful. But if someone expresses their opinion on a topic related to religion tat may be offensive, debate that person. Don’t make it unlawful. If someone chooses not to place PBUH for example after said persons name, let it be. Don’t make that unlawful. Now, I won’t go out of may way to insult any religion. But there may be someone who may express themselves. Let them.

This is Imran Khan. I condemn the atrocities in both countries. I was talking to an Indian friend and the general population is in a bad way and corrupt officials are taking all the wealth. Military conflict is designed to serve interest groups. There should be peace and defence budget should be spent on economic growth and public welfare. Canada has very low defence budget. All people should be given the birth right of self determination including Kashmiris, Balochs, Pashtuns
