Few facts, first, to clear up (silly) misconceptions:
he/she is not a hamster
they’re called “guinea pigs” or a “cavy”
no relation to pigs. :~P They have four legs, as pigs do, and that’s about it…so do cats, for that matter. SEVERAL animals have four legs; that does not mean they are all necessarily related to each other.
Anyhowzers, here we go - sorry about the dim light. :o He doesn’t feel safe under bright lights. Name’s “Chico”… pronounced “Chee-ko”.

He loves to sit on my side-table… and unfortunately chew on my papers, which he is doing in the second picture above.
By the way, he’s extremely tame…he eats right out of my hands. They’re very quick to trust humans provided that you raise them from when they are at an extremely young age.
