Well that's what I'm asking you. If there was no reward, would you still do it?
Does doing things for a reward make you worthy of the reward? If you did it for the reward, what was your intention? Did you ever stop and thing you're doing something good, and mashallah, that in itself is a good thing, regardless of heaven and hell?
I think we muslims focus way too much on heaven and hell. Mullahs are an anal lot.
