SD, you are making assumptions, the arabs (and please note that there were a lot of non arab muslims during prophets time, but you enlightened Muslims always associate only arabs to Islam) didnt go whaaaaaa at a lot of revelations in the quran, that modern science is only just discovering.

yeah but u dont get my point do u? he didnt talk about an instrument that was not yet invented…even the revelations that were revealed were something that people in that era could relate to.
blueberries are deemed the healthiest fruit in the world…why are only olives mentioned in islamic texts? could it be that the middle east HAD no blueberries?

If tomorrow J&J or PnG starts promoting miswak on TV you will readily go to the market and buy tons of it, never questioning how it works, but oh if the prophet has done it you want a 1000 pages scientific paper before you try it.

who said we want a hundred pages of scientific paper written on its benefits? no body is talking about its health benefits…but rather we are discussing the fact that when u use SUNAAH…it applies to the fact that miswak is used for hygiene and a toothbrush does the same thing. there may be lots of things that ancient people did better than us, there are alot of things WE do better than them too.
