Obviously i didnt mean it is ok to disrespect food/money but how is it anybody’s business if somebody is having a week or even a month long wedding as long as its them who is paying for it and its not a burden to you? That was my point.

Yeh coz that is in complete agreement with Islam’s teachings of modesty and moderation.

And fewer dishes does cut down wastage.
