New Lal Masjid imam implies suicide bombing warning
Abdul Ghaffar says 1,000 female students were killed during Lal Masjid operation
By Khalid Hasan
WASHINGTON: The imam of Lal Masjid in Islamabad, reports the Washington Times, issued an implied warning of launching suicide bombers if “our demands” are not fulfilled. In his Friday sermon, according to the report filed from the capital, imam Abdul Ghaffar said, “There can be no compromise. If our demands are not fulfilled, we cannot guarantee that there will be law and order. There will be protests, unrest and we may have to use our last option.”
The correspondent filing the report saw that as “possibly a cryptic reference to threats to unleash ‘waves of suicide bombers’ made by the former chief imam, Abdul Rashid Ghazi,” who died in the raid launched by security forces to oust militants holed up inside the mosque in July.
1,000 students killed: The imam also told the congregation that up to 1,000 women students were killed when the mosque was stormed. He said the mosque, which is now coloured yellow, would be painted red, and if necessary “with our own blood”. He also said the girls’ madrassa adjacent to the mosque, where many if not most of the victims are thought to have died, must be rebuilt.
The Washington Times report placed the number of worshippers at “at least 10,000.” According to the newspaper, “Thousands of men filled the field for a second service held by the new deputy imam, Amir Saddique, a nephew of the slain former leader. They wept openly as Imam Saddique prayed through a hand-held megaphone: ‘We feel guilty with sin in our hearts that we were not able to help the women who sacrificed their lives here. Please forgive us.’ The Supreme Court ordered the mosque reopened on Wednesday under the command of Umme Hassan, who ran the girls’ madrassa. It also ordered the madrassa rebuilt and the mosque repainted red. The government says it plans to petition the Supreme Court to rescind the order.”

...
1000? Can he list the names of those 1000 female terrosit who were killed? and what about males ? are those in millions ?
Abdu Sattar Edhi himslef was there, and he burried all those teroist and those were only 60-70, and I am sure Mr. Edhi will not lie for nothing! ... period!!!
Plus those terrorist were given so many warnings to come out and were given many chances to save thier own lives, but they refused to survive for thier own reaons, and hence they got what they deserved, and before they were sent to hell, they killed killed many security men. for what ?
If that so called Imaam has read Islam and its teachings, he should be ashamed of what he is doing! ...
Re: One bad decision by SC could lead to more trouble
Bad decision eh? Interesting. Could it have anything to do with the fact that the govt itself wasn't competent enough to prove anything in the court? hmmm
While we r talking Lal Masjid and bad court decisions, I will be totally random and speak out the names of govt. officials suspended, fired, or even admonished for the whole farce. Ok. Lets begin.
errrrr.
Ok. the list ends. phew. That was hard work. No.. wait. the general in command of the ISI at the time..I think he got fired. Yup. There u go. And there I was going on against the govt. Almost committed blasphemy by blaming the govt.

The SC has given back lal masjid back to its original terrorist administration. You were there when other non-terrorist imam was in charge.
Re: One bad decision by SC could lead to more trouble
setting aside the total incompetence of the govt. at finding ANY alternative in 60 billion years and keeping the mosque closed, this was going to happen sooner or later. If we r going to talk abt responsible stuff, lets also talk abt the responsible manner in which Ghazi Shaheed was pardoned by the King Emperor himself.
Drink lassi and don't go too over the top. Your posts are getting sillier by the hour.
Re: One bad decision by SC could lead to more trouble
i will say , rather listening to anyone , visit islamabad and just see mosque and meet administration yourself
and just try to find who allow the weapons to come in mosque , why not a single policeman is arrested for not doing his job properly
I have no interest in meeting enemies of Pakistan. Why don't you pay a visit again to Lal masjid and report back? And I never knew there were policeman in Pakistan who were actually doing their job properly. If you come across any, give them congratulations on my behalf.

These are just raves and rants and petty efforts to defend terrorism.
For a moment try to see the fact that Mullahs can smuggle weapons into any mosque. Policemen do not use airport style X-ray scanners at every mosque entry.
It is mosque admin's responsibility as not to allow desecration of mosque by deploying weaponry in a place of worship.

Peace!
ISI , police , etc etc have responsibility to stop arms smuggling
if that happen , one should be fired who neglects his duty
but so far , no one has fired anyone in this case
and we know weapons can't be grown from earth so some one have neglected his duty

We already know ISI has played double game with jihadis and taliban so that should be no surprise and we also know that accountability is unheard of in Pakistan. That still does not excuse the actual criminals and murderers carrying out acts of terror and vandalism.

no one will become criminal and murderer if he will not be given acess to weapons
in my view , the one who supply them weapon is biggest criminal then the one who use them
if you not get rid of them, then other day , some other criminal will rise up

Mehere! I don't know how your grandpa looked like. In most cases Maulvis in the mosques have a "mehrab" on their forehead, a large piece of cloth on their shoulder, and a long beard (size based on maslak). This is ditto picture of a granpa or granuncle of many Pakistani police walahs, army walahs, and even mummy-daddy group walahs.
Tell you what! How many time you would try to stop such a person who looks like your granpa and do "Pajama talashi"?
I guess the real issue are:
Why Mullahs desecrated mosques by storing and hoarding weapons.
Why the CDA allowed this mosque to expand beyond the original size. How come terrorist den aka Madrissha Hafsa an eyesore to the area was allowed to be built.
I think some heads in CDA should roll, some punishment must be given to those who allow illegal expansion of any mosque be it red, white, or blue.

Even sticks were enough for the ninjas to become terrorizers. Weapons have become part of Pakistani society as another aftereffect of afghan war. It will take a long time to clean up all the mess. We have to focus on the immediate threats first.

its not my duty to do Pajama talashi but in islamabad etc people with beared have given more jama talashi then the non ones
if some one leaves his duty , he should be punished

if we keep on saying this, nothing will change
one day molvi will be criminal due to access to weapons some day some other
and we will keep killing our people
