OMFG..

Re: OMFG..

I find it really funny how easily people jump like beans and start mocking other people and are out to cut throats. Hey you are not ALLAH. He is the one who is going to judge me for my ghunna or whatever. Instead of pointing fingers at others, look at what you are doing and then we'll meet up on judgement day and see whose going to jannat shall we?

Re: OMFG..

I thought you wash it with Persil. Detergent instead of soap.

Gosh, this brings back old memories.

Re: OMFG..

@Dubaiwali - that arrogant attitude is sure to get you far.

You have no justification so are throwing a hissy fit.

At least it's entertaining for the rest of us :)

Re: OMFG..

[note] Lets not get personal here. The thread is about a general slang expression commonly used for whatever reason. It's no aimed towards anyone is particular nor it should be treated like one. People who use it may have their own justifications, we are not here to crucify them. At the same time there is also no need of being unnecessarily defensive for using it (if you use it). [/note]

Re: OMFG..

thanks Xeno jee for putting a moderator note.. :bb:

but i have realized that most of the ppl think the way i take the word..

but still the topic is open as if one want to share the opinion

Aisha, im not getting at you promise! you wrote earlier that omfg is original and just wanted to say that i dont personally think theres anything original about using the f word, people use it too casually for it to be remotely original, people that use swearwords imo just sound really common, ignorant, uncouth and unintelligent, whether they are swearing in anger or whatever. and i think most people(im thinking of westerners here lol)that use omfg do so because they dont have any regard for God or religion. well so be it, its on their heads.

Re: OMFG..

Okay, so I came here after I read about it in a blog. I can't believe all the justifications people are trying to make here for using that word. It's wrong, period. No matter with how many arguments you come. You know deep in your heart that it is wrong, you're just pushing that feeling away because you want to use 'slang'. People use the word 'bi*tch' referring to their friend, yani ke, kutti... would you feel very honored hearing your friends saying that to you? THINK about how 'GOD' thinks about you using OMFG.

Re: OMFG..

well said sazzie n imlyy :)

Re: OMFG..

haha i don't even use omfg... it's hihgly entertaining how certain people got personal on my sarcastic first comment in this thread.. kher..! Allah knows my deeds etc and this is a pvt matter between me and my god.. whoever it is.. which is not really ur business.. ur as in anyone's business

Re: OMFG..

I smell burning pants.

not being offensive or anything but i noticed in ur earlier replies in this same thread you said God is for christians or something like that :konfused:

here it is.

Re: OMFG..

i think its a matter of great sawab to ban dubaiwali now.

Re: OMFG..

why??

Re: OMFG..

When muslims use the word "God" they don't mean jesus, seeta, geeta, Ram or whatever - they actually mean "Allah" .. so using a "F" word and God together is pretty offensive and quite low.

Re: OMFG..

even if you mean seeta/geet/ram/jesus, its still distasteful and disrespectful, even if you are not hindu or christian

Mother ya sister ke sath F lagana pasand nahi logon ko magar God ke sath ok na:D

:hehe: Nice one GN. Pehli dafa aqalmandi kee baat kee hai tum ne :k:

Re: OMFG..
