What a difficult situation!
Any individual who does such a thing is unbelievably selfish. All that money spent on the wedding has been wasted, so many people will get hurt and the wife’s future could get ruined by this short-marriage.
If he had been that seriously in love with his previous lover, then he would never have married another woman. His chances of marrying his lover were impossible anyway – or else he would have married her.
If the wife has the strength to do so, she could help him get over his lover and convince him to give their marriage a chance. But understandably it takes a lot of courage and strength to do this. If he is not willing to accept her as a wife or if she can’t accept what he has told her, then she should talk to her elders. She has been tricked and used into a false marriage. Why should she live in agony, worry & stress everyday wondering when he will love her.
He should tell her parents himself, so that her parent’s can give him a few slaps with a Bata Chappal and their marriage can get quickly annulled.
