Yep I did, but I did what you guys told me, you knwo a casual day out with a friend, I said
Me:“Hey I’m thinking of going for a movie…what would you suggest?”
Him: gives excited suggestions (and then says) “Ohh but I’m so choosy about what movies I want to see coz they should be worthwhile else I can wait till they come out on DVD”
Me: “So are you free today?”
Him: “Well I maybe..ohh but today I have this meeting planned with my business partner..why do you want to do something?”
Me:“Yeah I was hoping we’d go together for a movie, I’m kinda in the mood to get out today.”
Him:"OK..well in that case I’ll let you know in an hour, I’ll check with my partner and definetly give you a ring back…I’ll see what he says "
Me: “What movie you wanna watch?”
His: “Doesn’t matter, anyone is fine…we’ll decide once we get there.” (total contradiction to his “I’m picky about movies”)
Well he didn’t say NO, and I’m waiting for the YES..

Yeah even if he does ring back and says he has to go for the meeting I know his "excited" and "eager" reaction on the phone...and you just don't fake that..so it's all good! :D
Man I know people go out for movies all the time, but for me, this is a MOVIE with a GUY...it's like..WOW! :D
I thought meet the fockers was a let-down - a lot of hype for just about 10 min of laughs.

ok larki I am going to take a guess here (that is if I was going out on a movie with someone special this is how i would picture that someone) … she is gonna wear something casual (not too fancy), her hair looks just awesome so don’t worry and the shoes , well the ones that go with the dress
Well I’m going straight from work coz mom thinks I have extra class at uni (okie yeh I’m being sneaky)
So I;m wearing a black suit (jakect and suede pants)and an off white lacy sleevelss blouse inside, I never take my jacket off, but on this occassion I shall take it off whilst inside the theatre
I have off white leather shoes whit a blackish tinge to it and a handbag to match, my hair is the usual as shown in the Dubai meet, but I’m having a bad hair day today. I’ve powdered my nose and all, put on some hand l;otion and reapplied lipstick, and luckily had some mascara.
It’s 6:30..still no call…maybe he ain’t coming :)…
^ It would have been courteous of him to call you to cancel so I would call just to put myself out of the misery :)
Or just sms him if you know his cell.
Thing is I know he can't make it coz the movie was at 7:30 and it's 8:00, so whatever it is he's doing it doesn't matter.
And I know if I get on the fone now there's a sad quiver in my voice which will instantly tell him how much this so called "casual meeting" meant to me, and if I sms he'll call back and I so don't wanna talk to him right now.
