some people choose as a personal preference not to remove it completely and leave a little on as a moisturizer. but you are supposed to take it all off and then apply more if you want as a moisturizer.
and you are right again about the wastage of the more expensive oil as part of the cleaning.. i personally would use a less expensive one for the cleansing, and moisturize with the more expensive/and/or/better moisturizing oil for moisturizing
people just get fancy with ocm..by using essential oils, adding beeswax, making solid versions of the liquid oils, and other random stuff… at the end of the day, you can just use two, or even one oil. the whole point of ocm is to clean your face with oil, thats it. easy and simple
i’ve already been cleaning off my eye makeup with baby oil for yearsssssss, i think buying makeup remover for eyes is a complete waste of money, when baby oil (or any other oil) does the **best **job for ANY makeup !
ocm just extends that idea for your whole face
