Re: Oil Cleansing Method
Ok so is what I’m getting at. For example: Let’s say I have Pure Jojoba and Pure Rosehip or Argan oil. Rosehip/Argan is a more expensive oil compared to jojoba. If I’m doing OCM where I move the oil with a steamy wet cloth (which is what the author of the article you posted does too), then there’s no reason for me to use Rosehip to do OCM. I should just use the Jojoba oil for OCM and use Rosehip on it’s own as a moisturizer. Right?
Question: How does someone not remove the oil completely during OCM? I’ve only read about people using a hot wet towel to remove the oil which is what I do.
I got curious about this b/c I see that several of you mix castor and olive OR do % of 3-4 different oils for OCM. That got me wondering what the point was since the oil is being removed with a towel immediately. I suppose I can see this if the person wants use the same bottle of oil to moisturize but seems like a bit of a waste if a more expensive oil is being mixed in just to get removed after OCM.
