what happens when someone you are good friends with falls in l— eeek with you… you want to be friends..great great friends and she or he wants more..how do you handle the situation without losing the friend??

Happened to me…told the other person I just wanted to be friends. It worked until he was getting married. Invited me to all the functions BUT his wife to be knew all about me and didn’t want me to attend the wedding. Natural reaction from her I guess-he shouldn’t have told her how he felt about me. Now we aren’t in touch–all cos his wife has a complex about me.

umm...if u consider this person a friend..then i think he/she would understand if you talked to them about it..and told them that u want to keep the relationship at the level its at..(without hurting their feelings of course) :) if its a true friend..then they will definately understand...
