I've used PhotoFunia extensively, not the others. Will do, sir!

Re: Oh no! Part 2: OH YESSSSS!!!

Oh wow! There are so many setting options in each feature. You can customize everything down to the tee!

Re: Oh no! Part 2: OH YESSSSS!!!

And oh, the Maps! :hayaa: The views are so dynamic! I loved the MapQuest app on my iPhone, but this is even better!

Re: Oh no! Part 2: OH YESSSSS!!!

Tap the upper right corner of the display with your thumb…

Re: Oh no! Part 2: OH YESSSSS!!!

Oh wow, mubarakaan Niksik. You're going to loveeee it. I wish i was still on T-Mobile so i can just swap SIM cards when I'm travelling. In Canada the Sprint is not giving me any service so I'm sad :( (its a company phone so i can't get them to turn the international roaming on :( :()

I do see that you got the AirDroid working. Kudos!

PS: Looks like you have a transparent, hard case. Looks nice and slim. You like it?

Re: Oh no! Part 2: OH YESSSSS!!!

I don’t know how I feel about this. Niks without an iPhone is like…is like…Life1 without Nadz…Peanut butter without jelly…cereal without milk

You’re going to have to give me time to get used to this :naak:

Re: Oh no! Part 2: OH YESSSSS!!!

Trust me, I’ve been tappin’ all over the place :D!

I know the feeling of being crippled without your phone and all its features. It took a while for my data plan to kick in when I switched over and I was so restless! Yes I got the AirDroid. Still have to figure it out. Was up until almost 2:30 am last night setting my phone up :D. There weren’t too many cases available at the Mall for the S3. Just flashy hot pink ones that would take away from the beauty of the phone itself. We got the transparent case from Frys. It’s pretty cool as you can still see all of the phone and it’s sleekness and structure. The dude at the T-Mobile store kept telling me to get a hard case asap as some recent customers dropped and smashed their S3s within 2 days of purchase :(.

Awww . We still do have iPhones in my house and every other Apple product so I’m not feeling bad in anyway. Be happy for me Khatti because I’m really loving this new thing. Even Tariq, who has been so hesitant about my switch, has finally admitted that it is indeed a cool phone (though he says he will NEVER EVER EVER switch! :hehe:).

Re: Oh no! Part 2: OH YESSSSS!!!

You forgot Afridi without big heart.

How could you?

Re: Oh no! Part 2: OH YESSSSS!!!

Serious question from a technophobe

So is this samsung (3x or 3s) better than ipohone 4?

If we go to India or Europe is it easy to use it there.

Do both use 3g or 4g.

What is advantage of 4g vs 3g - get better reception? Can operate in more countries.

Does at&t wireless carry both 3g and 4g.

If you bought this phone thrum sat at&t wireless and 1 yr later switch to sat verizin can you still use phone. Will addresses be retained.

These are serious questions - I am literally petrified by technology.

Re: Oh no! Part 2: OH YESSSSS!!!

  1. It's a Samsung 3S. Whether it is better than the iPhone 4S or not is a personal perspective.
  2. My cousin and sister in India have been using the S2 and have just switched to S3. They love it. 3 & 4. 4G is fourth generation cell phone standard. Before this were the 3G and 2G. It has faster speed and coverage. You get this service from your cell phone provider. And yes both the phones work on 4G. Problem is when you have an iPhone which doesn't have AT & T service, then even though it is supposed to work with 4G, it really doesn't. Your phone has to gel with the service provider for maximum efficiency.
  3. So when I had my iPhone on T-Mobile, I was pretty much on a 2G network. You see what I'm saying?
  4. Yes, switching carriers are easy. Just be sure about SIM cards and all.

Hope that answered your questions.

Re: Oh no! Part 2: OH YESSSSS!!!

Oh my…This is a kids forum, ma’am. Please edit your post, thanks.

Using just one hand? Judging by the picture you posted…I don’t believe you. :snooty:

Re: Oh no! Part 2: OH YESSSSS!!!

I’ve even texted with just one hand. I have flexible fingers. And the phone is very thin and light. Don’t believe me. Mennu ki :snooty:?

Re: Oh no! Part 2: OH YESSSSS!!!

Congrats :aisha:

S3 has more modern features, like eye tracking, gesture controls and facial recognition for photo, I am sure you 'll enjoy using it. Keeping us updated with your new play toy. :hehe:

Re: Oh no! Part 2: OH YESSSSS!!!
