I agree that this change isn't easy for us all. Ehsan, our former Director, has been moved up one ladder and TLK is our New Director of this site. He has been a great poster and well known guppy around. Now, since he is a Director - his responsibilites and priorities have changed a bit. Its bit new for him and it will take a little time for him to settle and us to get used to it.
Give him a time and chance and trust him. He will take this site as much forward as Ehsan did.

Munza has given appropriate response to the thread starter and geek in post # 2 and # 4.
Please let us know what your likes and dislikes are for this site. This is a user driven site. The only driver is user experience so user can drive it in the right direction by providing specific likes and dislikes.
As for concern in post #5 we are in contact with the user who has that issue and working on addressing her concerns to the best of our abilities.
I’m a simpleton…really I am…explain to me again why the question about warning points could not wait a few days for an answer? Especially when as the director says, it’s his 2nd day on the job.
Then we can move on to other aspects of your dissatisfaction…

I was not given the position of Directorships cause I won a popularity contest somewhere. I dont expect to be in everyone's good book and this is not my job anyway.

yep, it is just a discussion forum, where all sorts of mentalities are indulged to gain happiness, experiences, etc on a single platform, unlike organizations where robots are working and not humans, right?
there are two types of changes that history reveals to us. one is called revolution, and other one is reformation. revolution requires entirely a new setup whereas reformation deals with the modification of the old sets of law....so what GS did is reformation, which means they simply cant expel the old [face value] administration.
...in fact they did a smart move of giving them a higher rank.

Even discussion forums need a management team to run the place effectively. There's a lot that goes on behind the scenes that we would never know until we're a part of it.
I think YesWeCan is an excellent slogan. It has been used many times before but so have many other things. Some of us need to get a life and stop being reactive about every little thing.

These people are taking this ancient forum way too seriously. Management “teams”, directors, CMs! Ha! Seriously, I am beginning to think most people here don’t have lives.
I don’t understand muzna, each time someone says something to you, you get threatened, highly defensive and simply, right out ridiculous. You need to relax and understand that members questioning the “authority” is their right and you job to civilly answer. Maybe you still have to learn after “13 years”.
I agree 5abi, What an absolutely rude thing to say. With “directorship” like this, what can you possibly expect from the rest of the “team.”
