Seminole: Let me remind you what you had said once about the Palestinean people in a thread in WA. It was derogative and racists. You called the entire Palestinean people pathetic or their existence as being pathetic. I dont have the link to the thread anymore cos it has been removed since, but and admin like Faisal e.g can dig it up and confirm what you had said.
Learn tolerance yourself first, before preaching it.

I am talking about sytematically posting intolerance and disdain for other groups You, the captain, lussi, or anyone else who wants to jump to Lajawab's defense can check out virtually any of his posts from WA or Religion.

Roman, your thread expresses the same thing that has confronted me over in the religion forum....
when I posted there, it was without malice, evil intentions or lies.
the "holiest of the holy", lacking better arguments and desiring - at any cost - to disagree with me and attack, responded by accusing me of making it all up, bashing religious leaders and making broad negative generalizations of the entire religion.
The religion forum is the most distasteful hate-filled, close-minded forum I've ever seen.

Mr Seminole i went through Mr Lajawab’s posts in WA and/or Religion and i didnt find any of the “sytematically posting intolerance and disdain for other groups” that you mentioned. Can you kindly refer us to any such post/thread. Thankyou.

Let me try to make an analogy here, Ms Mamaof3, and even if you dont agree with me i hope you get my drift.
A person immigrates to the U.S.A. but does not like the american ideology on life etc. So that person proceeds to insult America and Americans. When he does that people ask him if he hates america so much, why is he still IN america to begin with?
Similarly, Ms Mamaof3, if you hate the Religion forum so much kindly stay away from it. Please do not take it upon yourself to fix something that *you *think is wrong. You have already expressed your dislike for the Religion forum elsewhere. Its only when you keep repeating yourself again and again do you lose all credibility.
I hope from now on we can all expect from you to stay away from the Religion forum and not post there anymore.

Truth hurts Seminole. Whether you said it once or 10 times, is not the issue. The fact is the thought did cross your mind and I didnt see you take your words back. I cant say for sure if you have become tolerant of Palestinean people.
Like I said, learn to be tolerant of groups like the nation of Palestine before expecting Lajjo to be tolerant of US or any other group that fancies you.

Captain, yes I do get your drift and you are absolutely right. There are many, including myself, who typically avoid that forum for the reasons I (and others) have stated ad nauseum. So that forum, instead of being an open forum for religious discussions as intended, remains a forum for Islaamic bullies who beat on anyone who expresses views different from their own or brings to light anything remotely wrong within the ranks of beleivers. Therefore, the religion forum perpetuates itself with posters of one mind, no one else is welcome there.
I occasionally ventured in there, my mistake. I cant recall even one time that I was made to feel welcome or that my questions or observations were addressed with maturity and respect by those who linger there.
My intentions in venturing there were to gain understanding. I understand now. And yep, I'm outta there.

One can behave/react to people/situations in real life as per whatever their beliefs are. No one can stop them. No one will object. But when it comes to online forums, these things are like.... yes, I dont visit on some specific forums here anymore only because alot of dirty people with dirty opinions and minds (eg' Pakjangjoo) are sh!tting all over the place with their petty minds (still in infancy).
When we talk about tolerance, yes one has to be mature and dignified himself to expect better from others. And this is not for the followers of just one religion, nation or race. The rule applies to all.
I do not expect indians to expect tolerance from me to their nation due to many incidents of intolerance, discrimination and corruption I sufferred from them. If they expect tolerance from me, they should have behaved with me like humans.... I would have thought of them as humans.
I do not want all these ill feelings to affect me, my life. I want to live as a healthy person free of all the hate and full of goodwill for all the humans. Im working on it. But it requires real hard work as my each new experience with them does not turn out to be a positive one but similar or worse than what I have already seen of them. So, unless they start to live/behave like humans, Im gonna treat them like keera makoraas because that's what they have shown me they are, from their attitude.
This is with an apology to those indians who are humans and know it and reading this but are under cover or unknown or hidden.

I thought the point of this thread isn’t that people have intolerant opinions, it’s that those who complain about the intolerance of others are generally the most intolerant bunch. This board is full of intolerance. Lajawab, armughal and the like forfeit their right to complain when they are heading up the intolerant posse.

Sorry 5ABI, but this is like closing your mind, blocking yourself from those who belong to other cultures. Do you know how much of misunderstanding has been spread by the media? If you will shun away the real people, how would you be exposed to what the truth is and what they think? As long as someone is telling you the truth, please do not shun them away.
Dont you think openness to other people, their ideas is one of the teachings of Islam. This is especially important looking at how much of hatred, misunderstandings have been spread by the media. True their occupation was illegal but there are Israelis who admit that and I had met a Christain in the real life who was fighting against the injustice along with those muslims of Palestines.
Media is there to create confusion, dissatisfaction to get sold. But blocking yourself from real people is not a way to clarify misunderstandings created by the same media.
Do you know I do not read newspapers anymore or watch news. Only when major things like these disasters happen what brings me to get the necessary information. Do you know the news made and sold by media about anything can only make a normal human sick. Try communicating with real people instead of depending on these stories from the news channels/news papers. It will only make you violent and leave you sick.

What I said was not only for you.
All of us whose lives revolve around eating, drinking, sleeping CNN, BBC, NBC, etc. etc. etc. need to ban them. We need to ban all sorts of media if we really need to bring peace. All of us need to shun the media away, we shall have much more peaceful lives and live in harmony with everyone. This is the truth. Things are not as bad as exposed to innocent people at larger scale. They only fool you, fool me. They have to do it. Media is a business.
Your media will outrage you. Their media will outrage them. What shall we be left with? Resentment which gives birth to a desire to destory the other. Does it hurt the media? No, they gain from exploiting people.
We need to kill that keera of curiosity inside of us which makes us want to know everything making us to buy their stories. Which makes us want to know what is going on at others' lands. Until we remain curious, we shall continue to be exploited by the media.
And again, this is not to you. This is to all those people seeking peace on earth but are confused.
