p.s. i’ve been to lahore only a couple of times in my life and even that for a few hours, but some ppl told me there is lots of development and the road infrastructure is being improved quite a bit.
It has …quite a lot ..I stayed in Lahore last year after a long time and There is so much difference that I couldnt recognize it anymore..I couldnt find ways..things have changed so much ..(And I m from Lahore:)
which part of lahore you were hanging out? Lahore roads have improved a lot in past one decade -- specially in areas like gulburg, garden town, defense, fairozpur road, jail road, mall road etc.
village food sucks. their qeema is not qeema and their gosht is no gosht. I cook better than them. there are a lot better restaurants on mm aalim road like ziyafat, freddy's, salt 'n pepper grille, even mirchi and bundu khan has better food. rest of the observations are pretty reasonable.

But Village food used to be so good.
well, in PK companies usually lower the quality once they start earning profits.
Mullahs rule. They can shutdown an entire city by calling on junior and intern Mullahs.
Roads have not been repaired since British Rule.
There are too many people and they are everywhere. Walking around some markets is like playing Dodge Ball where you are dodging bodies.
Traffic is like a 3-D video game where objects come at you from all angles. Animals and veichles co-exist.
Dirt and smog can be seen rising from miles away.
Driver paid a tula 100 rupees to get out of a traffic violation.
Village had the best food in town and they have a guy with dholki/harmonium who sings Attah ullah Eisa Hailwi songs on demand.
I felt clastrophobic everywhere.

traffic is heavy....yes,,,but mainly due to construction....
you have not seen 8 under passes on canal roads from Mughulpura to Doctor's hospital under passes...
and village has best food..this shows your ignorance how much you kow about lhaore Restaurants that you are declaring one is the best...shoulkd i tell you other hundreds !!!!

was in lahore just a few weeks ago…was there for a month n must say things def have progressed since my last visit which was exactly 10 years ago. i don’t know which khoo u were living in while u were there but lahore is not wht u have described in your post. you r more like a khoo ka dadoo…next time on ur visit do come out of your khoo n visit a few places b4 u post such crap…:halo:
Lahore is congested, and they can improve things..
But development has been comming about. Recently they announced a huge investment in a Mass transit project with underground and above ground stations... So that is a major achievment considering Karachi whihc already has the infrastructure stiull cant get anything started...
Also, Lahore is relatively clean compared to a lot of other cities in Pak.
