^^Seminole, since you have never done wudu and prayed afterwards, I'll tell you that it does not take long to do both. Sad that it's what you assume but it's not true. I have friends who do pujas longer than we read all our 5 namazes for, and that's what you call time consuming.. considering how much time your prayers take, maybe that's the reason you guys aren't required to do pujas regularly. Oh and by the way, there are 5 prayers a day, not 3. Have a nice day now.
I agree with Hanibal- if you're meeting with someone, obviously you're not just going to roll out of bed and go see them. You're gonna look presentable, and it is the same way with namaz.

1- Salat Al-Fajr (Dawn Prayer)24:58
2- Salat Al-Esha (Night Prayer)24:58
3- Al-Salat Al-Wusta (The Middle Prayer) 2:238.

It is considered passing fatwas and fatwa about Islamic matters can be given by a Muslims. Non Muslims should avoid giving fatwas and Muslims should not be asking fatwas from non Muslims and they do not.
If you are trying to deceive others by pretending to be a Muslim Alim that is open dishonesty. I expect honesty from non Muslims too.

I am not pretending to be anything and surely not a Muslim Alim. Questioning and discussing Islamic scripture is considered passing a fatwa? I said I have only read of 3 prayers mentioned by name in the Quran. I'm waiting for someone to educate me on the other 2, that's all.

It is a leap of reason to assume that the details of every worship need to be specified in the Quran, since there are duties that the Quran talks about but leaves the explaining through the life of the Prophet. Excepting certain revisionist groups that have attempted to re-invent the religion divorced from its history and evolution, the body of Muslims today and historically have relied on the Prophet's teachings to understand the operational details of whatever was instructed in the Quran. This is why whereas there are differences across sects in the timings of prayers (I am someone who would combine prayers into 3 times a day) pretty much every sect agrees, based on a completely different set of sources of history, that the Prophet instructed for 5 prayers.

I copied and pasted that from a Word document my friend sent me some time ago. I have since found sites that quote the same three prayers mentioned in the Quran. I'm assuming they are all fringe sites since 5 daily prayers is one of the pillars of Islam. Anyone who says otherwise is obviously a fringe group.

Then it is a leap to say the Quran is complete and perfect. Or that it was completed when revealed. Or that Muslims only follow the words of God. Or that Muhammad does not supercede the Quran in some instances.

Why is it a leap to say that the Quran is "complete"? "Completeness" depends on the judgement criterion this isnt computational logic. So lets hear on what grounds you are judging completeness or perfectness. As for Muslims only following the word of God, the Quran itself says the Prophet does not speak of his own whim, except for what directions he recieves. Therefore anything that is a part of the religion based on the Prophet's teachings is, according the the Quran, from God. As for Muhammad superceding the Quran, the question of superceding arises if one does something contrary to specific Quranic instructions based on the Prophet's teachings. The Quran mentioning three prayers and the prophet teaching 5 is NOT a contradiction, since the Quran doesnt say dont pray the other two, or pray only these three. Prophetic instructions supplement and explain Quranic ones, which is not the same as superceding.

Quran has mentioned various salat’s at various times. in various ayat’s.
So here are 4 at the two ends of the day. The word tarafi has been used which does not litraly mean end , it means during the duration of the day and the day for Arabs will be when there is full bright light is out there and that convers zuhar , Asar , and zulful lail covers maghrib and eisha.

Three times of privacy for you. It is no sin for them or for you at other times, when some of you go round attendant upon others (if they come into your presence without leave). When a group boasts of the last, great, accurate, protected, complete word of God and that they follow the words and command of God and then make a whole list of things necessary to be a legitimate follower of that religion, book and God, something is amiss. Either the claim of the completion and perfection of the book, or the historical interpretation that has allowed dogmatic practices (that were not part of God's word) to creep into the religion.
