Obey GOD and Obey the Messenger

Walikum Salam and welcome back filhaal;
without further meaningless posts, let me just say that:

1- “Huwa” refers to “Wahee”. How you make the distinction by separating all wahee and Quran is beyond me. The second verse you quoted indicates that Quran is a Wahee but certainly does not say that it is the only source for relevation. There is no confusion here.

For your point about Quran being the only source of relevation, please read: http://www3.pak.org/gupshup/Forum13/HTML/005492.html

Also generally give that thread a read since its in a point-by-point basis and has already answered most of your questions. If you can refute those points, open up a new thread and we will continue there.

Was’Salaam, & Best Regards.

nice discussion u two are having, but mahiwal can u please respond to my question too: whether u r of the opinion that all people in the time of the Prophet had a bad smell in their mouth despite using miswak, because they didn't have a toothbrush????? in this case what was the use of the miswak if it didn't help u get rid of the bad smell??????

Nescio, I've already answered in case you didn't notice.

^ok so we agree that you use the toothbrush to get the bad smell out. but what is the use of the miswak then????? To follow the prophet?????
but did you ever think about the reason why the prophet used the miswak?????? clearly only one reason stands out: he used the miswak to get rid of the bad smell!!!!

so, if u have used the toothbrush to get rid of the bad smell, why use the miswak then, because the purpose for which the miswak is used is already served (even better) by the toothbrush.

dear mahiwal,

make up your mind,
first you say that IT refers to 'he speaks" then now you are saying that it refers to "WAHI", why can not you bve consistent, or are you suggesting that every utterance of the prophet (saw) was WAHI????

dear mahiwal,

"IT is not but a revealed revelation" (53:4).

IT can NOT refer to WAHEE, because wahi is the proces by which divine revelation occur. In your interpretation the reading of the above ayat is rather odd (whether the revelation through the WAHI is exta-quranic or contained in the quran is a different matter, but IT can not refer to WAHI)

any other choices???

It's rather odd people debating the benefit of toothbrush over mishwak and vise versa. Use both by all means.

dear google,

indeed that what i was saying!!
the toothbrush is as good as the miswak!!
the basic need why the miswak was used was to clean your mouth and NOT some hidden sawaab!!
