^ UTD, don't forget the biggest claim to Bill Clinton's fame was due to the republican house and senate. Yes the laws and legislations passed in that period were the reasons for the economic boom not his slickness. Also, the destruction caused by Bush makes these democrats in house and senate partly culpable as well. You cannot take the credit at one hand and assign blame to others when things are not going well.
