^ I think you need a ticket. Plus you had to be there super early. People started walking towards Grant Park from 6-7pm.

Ive no idea. I heard about the assembly at Grant Park and was just going to head out there. There is sooooooooooo much excitement in the city right now. Election parties in every corner of Chicago, this place hopping mad ALIVE!

Well the word is, 65,000 people were ticket holders. And it is mostly likely that they were the ones in the front. There was airtight security organized by Secret Services, and other law enforcement agencies (Chicago PD, etc..)

The actual number of people who showed up is way more than 65,000.

I voted in this election...not something Ive ever done before...always been indifferent. But even my parents voted today which is HUGE. This is a huge moment for everyone, some who are putting their faith where it never was before and some who are being trusted to lead us.

Its amazing and I was part of it!

^ Exactly. Last election it was soo close that I really got disgusted and Bush left the bad taste even more in his second term. Last election I didn't vote but family did. This time I was ready! We all were ready and excited while hoping for a change! Amazing results at the end for the day!

The first bush election, majority of muslims were for him. Why? Because Al Gore chose a "jew" (Joe Lieberman) as his running mate.
