i bought this gorjus gorjus pair of 'undergarments' from la senza...i am really disappointed with the night wear they have in the UK- its soo tacky! but i managed to find 'the one' for my wedding day (purple, padded, revealing...its so umm cant think if the right word lol) & i found this gorjus black silky, fitted dress type nighty, dont really know wen id be ready to wear it but i love it!

tabu man get a move on! u need to try on ur bra under ur lehnga, cos some show up, i wish mine was a bit more padded (as im not so blessed in that area lol) but it'll do...
i even bought funny undies from lasenza- they had some offer on, theyv got slogans written on them 'out of ur league' 'grumpy' 'im a princess' 'u can look but no touching'... i really have no idea what possessd me to buy them lol

Some old ladies told my sister on her wedding day that she wore the wrong bra! they said it shudve been pointed or sumfin lol

^ lol! Actually, its the shape of the bra. Instead of folding at the curve, older bras used to collect the stitches "at" the curve, making it a pointy 'cone'! lol... And thats how you achieve that look. lol.
Madonna's video with her 'cone bra' was kind of a mockery of those old days! lol

very true, i think asians get too much into planning the whole first night, u have so many emotions in ur mind after ur rukhsati that in the end this is one of the last things u really want to do…most things that u have in ur mind for ur wedding night dont go to plan due to the hussle and bussle (lol - wrong spelling i know) for asian weddings. For us it wasnt even a question of doing it, we just wanted to enjoy our wedding day and relax for the walima and spend time with our families as one big unit. there are times for things like that later! some ppl who have arranged marriage are pressured into doing it and poor girls dont even emotionally know there husband, we girls are lucky.

Im sorry but you make it sound like the husband has been with other girls in the past but was disappointed in this dept hence the bride has to "slip into something that blows his mind".

i dont think the thread is becoming "slutty" by saying that, but we do aim to please, it's only human nature so if turning up the appeal is something that your president was referring to that doesnt make it slutty in my opinion.
'slipping into something that blows his' mind does NOT at alllllllllll allude to whether he's been with other girls lol....i dont see how that adds up .....
back to the topic of what to wear at night.....
i just got my order in, i'm very happy with what i got from vs. go online, they've got a GREAAT sale...at prices that are even cheaper than walmart and jc penny :)
I totally agree views of marena..... mostly it is a symbolic thing and association of night wear with your first night is pretty strong.....
there has to be balance between how much you wanna please and how comfortable you are.....like there are still many things that we do not know about hubby at that time..and being too sensual could backfire too...but if there has been some communication between hubby and wife before getting married then do inquire about his likes and dislikes and go from there without getting too much uncomfortable....
If you are not sure have sumthing which gives a hint :) yet is classy, like sumthing with deep back and side slits riding high.... in that way, you would have flexibility to change "his views" by changing your sitting postures etc according to the "atmosphere" in your room.......
