Wouldn’t that play into the fact that “pathans are being marginalized while punjab remains one”?

As for dividing Punjab etc, why not make smaller cities the capital of these provinces like in America? This way not only we develop new cities** but the security of the city would be easier as well LIKE no traffic jams for the poor public while MPAs move through???**

How would security improve? Also, if there is population there will be MPA so no relief there

Please englighten how secure Islamabad is.

Once a “district” is selected as “capital” it grows like crazy as all supporting govt infrastructre needs to be built up.

Islamabad is still more secure than lahore and karachi.

As for the current mess, when you have wahabbi sympathizers ingrained in the police and lower military then probably kahuta isn't even safe!

Didn’t you see my other thread, “4 province into 15”? See the picture of the Pakistan map with 15 provinces.

I think if can’t create 15 atleast we can create 8 provinces, Upper Punjab, western punjab (Mainwali, Attock, Dera Gazi Khan) all should be split and added and created a new province.

In current situation NWFP should be split into 3

Exactly, so moving capital doesn't help improve security, instead cleanup/training of security personnel will help.

Lets not forget the fact that ANP does not enjoy a 2/3 majority in the assembly.
they are in coalition with other parties like PPP and others.
PPP representatives in the province are against this name.
