My parents wedding had about 1000 guests, but this was in Pakistan.
My eldest bhai’s wedding had about 500 I think but I could be way off.
I’m thinking of having 10 guests, but I dont know if I am just dreaming or what.
How many is too many, where is the cutoff mark? How do people decide with the enormous cost these days??
I’m not getting married, but well, it seems that some of my friends start planning these things even before they meet the guy, so as not to make the task so daunting when time comes near.
i always thought PK weddings were unbeatable but my cuz is having hers here in the UK
its being held in this gorgeous hall ive forgotten what it was called but it has paintings on the ceilings walls complete with balconys heavy curtains the nine yards
its huge, theyre going to be inviting abt 450 to abt 600 i think
depends on how large is your family, and how largeis your social circle, how many of your pals are in the area, how many are close nuff that they can make it..
after that it is your decision on who you dont include in the invitation list.
dont invite people for teh sake of inviting ppl
dont invite ppl because having some great gala is a status symbol
have the right reasons, and invite the right people..
Well at my sister's we had about 375ppl. At my wedding, Inshallah there will be about 500....I wanted the number to be cut in half..but it wasn't possible. I think at my nikkah..there's going to be about 150-200 ppl...it's being held in the local masjid.
