Taliban are not helped by Mossad, but they are playing in RAW/Mossad hands by weakening Pakistan.
Raw/Mossad/CIA etc. may stoke the flame, but the primary problem is with Taliban/Qaeda's anti-Pakistan policies.
So Pakistan is not wrong when it says that Raw is exploiting the situation, even though it was not Raw/Mossad who created the problem (rather it was extremists in Pak administration itself).
There is a difference here....In Iran's case the threat is real (regardless of whoever is in power, only Rafsanjani seemed to have a good head on his shoulders) judging by some of the statements emanating from Tehran over the past two decades. And it's not just Israel that should worry!!
There is no realistic chance of Pakistan's nuclear weapons falling into the wrong hands. There is a proper structured chain of command in place. The threat would only become real if (God forbid) we ever became completely talibanised. We all wish to see a strong stable islamic Pakistan but we don't want talibanisation of our homeland...Thank you very much

Iran has a government based on religion, and Iranian clerics consider nukes to be un-Islamic.
If there is any country who said is willing to use nukes then it is Israel. That's where the threat is.

Yeah sure. I don't believe even India (officially) has threatened Pakistan (atleast as of late), does that mean RAW's hands are clean?
Ehtasab, It seems to me that although things in Pak were not good 2001-2008, things have rapidly deteriorated since Mush is gone. That is not the case? IDK, i would have travelled to Pak any time in the past but I'd not go there with my young ones now. My relatives in Islamabad say that everyone there is very concerned now, they never know whats going to blow up when. This was never previously the case.
Militants are not stationary, they are moving from one place to another after getting evicted from or bombed in one area, so some places become safer while others get less safer.
During Musharraf times militants were not being as much targetted, they were getting wrist-slaps hence they didn't need to move from area to area.
And ok, so either the US is not doing enough or its doing too much over in the Northern areas. It wasnt clear to me which you were implying. But the thing is....the situation is out of control no? What does that have to do with drug cultivation? Or with the fact that its looking like taleban are winning up there in the north?
US is not doing enough in different aspects. It has failed in containing militants into limited areas. It has failed in curbing militants supply lines. It has failed securing Afghanistan borders (I think they did secure Iraq's borders).
Drug cultivation in Afghanistan is helping warlords who are anti-Pakistan.

USA blocked F-16, and Pakistan find a way to built one of its own, although with the help of its friend, but point to be noted is the technology is in Pakistan, and if the development continues, the next version can be world beater... as even USA couldn't built F-16 or others in one day.
same applies to other... we should stop crying and trying for the INDO-US deal, and should look forward to make our own.

These Mind-sets are normally those who will easily accept anything against Pakistan and wil deny any positive thing or if not deny try to find or make thing look bad or small.

So if pakistan remove threat of taliban/terrorists they can demand and get whatever they want. If no doubts about the nations stability, why they will refuse nuclear and other help?
