Nuclear Pakistan, Iran pose threat to world: Palin, Biden

**ST. LOUIS: The campaigns of rival White House hopefuls Thursday rushed to claim victory after the first and only vice presidential debate between Democrat Joe Biden and Republican Sarah Palin. **

Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin has said that nuclear Pakistan and Iran are grave threat for world community while Iran with nuclear weapons will be even more dangerous.

Democratic vice president hopeful Joe Biden also agreed on the point that Iran and Pakistan are perilous and termed Pakistan’s nuclear weapons insecure. India and Israel could be targeted by Pakistan’s nuclear weapons, they agreed.
Saran Palin said: “US will certainly launch attacks inside Paksitan over presence of Osama Bin Laden in the nuclear country. We need to send more troops to Afghanistan, adding US will not let Al-Qaede succeed.”

She said Barack Obama should not hold talks with world’s dictators before its demands are met. She further said, “We will have to assure Jews that there will be no more holocaust with them.” About Palestine issue, she said the only solution of Palestine conflict is to set up two states and added Israel is strong ally of America.

Meanwhile. Biden said terrorism could be eliminated with improved intelligence. According to Biden, Israel should be supported on the issue of Middle East peace talks. He added talks are the way to resolve the issue faced by the world.

Regarding Pakistan, he said strong democracy was the need of government and termed the Al-Qaeda a real threat for people of Pakistan and Afghanistan.
The clash over Iraq was the most personal, and pointed, of the 90-minute debate in which Palin repeatedly cast herself as a non-Washington politician, part of a “team of mavericks” that she said was ready to bring change to a country demanding it.

The two running mates debated for 90 minutes on a stage at Washington University, their only encounter of a campaign with little more than one month to go. After intense preparation including two days at McCain`s home in Sedona, Ariz., there was only one obvious stumble, when she twice referred to the top U.S. commander in Afghanistan as “Gen. McClellan.” His name is David McKiernan.

Re: Nuclear Pakistan, Iran pose threat to world: Palin, Biden.

It tells a lot about the progress of Afghanistan war and why is it moved into Pakistan. World's peace is now dependent on a country's economic condition. Some say wars bring "economic activity". God help Pakistan, aameen.

give some harmless new toys to the restless domineering abberent paranoid, lacking self esteem kind of greedy kids. & their foci to destroy the toys & their constantly shifting attention spans after that destruction will amaze you!!!!

Alsi bro! I expected better from you. Why are you repeating the lies about Pakistan?

Pakistani newspapers love to hate Pakistan and you ended up quoting the same hate in this thread.

FYI.

The question from Gwen Ifill of PBS was “What’s the greater threat, a nuclear Iran or an unstable [Pakistan]? Explain why.”

The emphasis was on “unstable” meaning the time when Pak army has failed (or heavens forbid) split along religious lines. After that when Pakistan is unstable then the religious fanatics could use Pakistani nuclear arsenal against Middle Eastern targets.

Here is the transcript of the debate so you can read by yourself.

And the candidates responded to that specific question and not in a generic way as anti-Pakistan Pakistani media is portraying.

Thank you.

Re: Nuclear Pakistan, Iran pose threat to world: Palin, Biden.

^^ Pakistan is unstable....the recent truck bombing in the most fortified building in Pakistan is proof of that............

Right now, Islamabad has joined Baghdad, Kabul and Mogadishu as the only capitals in the world where diplomats are not encouraged to bring their families...........

that is just pathetic

How did you come to the conclusion that the Marriot was 'the most fortified building in Pakistan'?

Re: Nuclear Pakistan, Iran pose threat to world: Palin, Biden.

^ Fox News?

lol, I hope to god not, for his own sake.

M2K, I hear you.

Islamic terror is increasingly overwhelming Pakistani law enforcement agencies.

And yes it is sad that terrorist have been successful in driving tourists and diplomats out of Islamabad.

However unstable Pakistan is a futuristic and hypothetical situation and not a present day scenario.

Off course if Pakistanis continue to harbor terror all in the name of Islamic brotherhood, and then we may force ourselves to reach the unstable state.

Re: Nuclear Pakistan, Iran pose threat to world: Palin, Biden.

Pakistan can not get unstable (specially in regard to Nuclear infrastructure Stability) with suicide bombing by some losers extremists. People and (specially western journalists) know this pretty well but they just want to keep the pressure on.

Spock, first of all I dont have Cable so I dont know why you are always barking Fox News whenever I right something that doesnt agree with u................

second of all, it was hotel with foreign dignitaries, diplomats, pakistani politicians stayed and dined and thus since it was also the only place in Islamabad where diplomats were allowed to go

and thus it made it the most secure public building in Pakistan

common sense and logic

Firstly, a little bit of tameez would help. Secondly, I wasnt really mocking you because I actually heard this on Fox. It had nothing to do with any pro-western thing you write. However, your statement that this was the only place in Islamabad where diplomats were allowed is wrong. You think this old building was fortified and secure? lol Have you seen Serena? The security there is MUCH better than the Marriot, as in alot of other buildings I can think of in the capital.

Re: Nuclear Pakistan, Iran pose threat to world: Palin, Biden.

We broke no international laws when we sold nuclear technology. What we did was fair trade. Just like the US and India. grin

Re: Nuclear Pakistan, Iran pose threat to world: Palin, Biden.

^^ the only difference is that the world approved the US-India trade

Such low language!

*Quoted for truth. * :)

Oh now you need the world's approval to do things eh? Did you get the world's approval to make that post? National Interest is just that. **** the world.

^ This mercenary is repeating Repuglican B.S.

When he says “world” approved Indian deal then by world he means “America”, and by extension he means McPalin’s “league of democracies” cr**

http://firstread.msnbc.msn.com/archive/2008/03/26/819810.aspx
“McCain proposes league of democracies”.

No the people who approved the deal were members of IAEA which includes 144 Member countries

So please do some research before you post

IAEA approves India nuclear inspection deal - International Herald Tribune

Just accept it,

Pakistan is too messed up…

Al Qaeda and Taliban militants setting up camp and launching global terrorist attacks

Pakistan Army utterly incapable of doing anything

Pakistani people too uneducated and dumb to realize how big of a threat these people are

And while this is happening, India is moving forward in leaps and bounds…

Keep living in your fantasy world

Re: Nuclear Pakistan, Iran pose threat to world: Palin, Biden.

There are 192 countries in this world. And another 20 territories. Don't they count?
