you are blaming men. I can’t say that is a justified response. The men are being jerks because extremist/harsh sunni shariat laws in those countries let them be. take shariat laws out, and the man is FORCED to consult lawyers and negotiate out of the marriage contract WITH THE WOMAN. As it should be.

So now we are blaming the law for these men being jerks??? OK! they are being jerks coz they ARE jerks! What ever the law says, even getting dumped over the phone, or via any mode of technology I feel is not very “polite”, getting divorced via a TEXT message..that is awful. I feel anyone getting divorced deserves to have a face to face discussion about it..not a TEXT message!
