I want to hear from all the girls who are married on this forum. We focus so much on the wedding and lose sleep over the tiniest of details!
But now that its finally behind you, do you have any regrets? Is there anything you wish you had done differently on the big day?
Talk about anything from food to makeup to jewelry to dancing…whatever!
My biggest fears are falling down the stair case and looking like a troll doll.

^ Aww i’m sure you won’t fall down!! just make sure you are comfy with the shoes you wear (walk around in them a couple of days before… ) and hold your lengha up a little when walking up or down stairs… 
My biggest regret was wearing a champagne coloured lengha for the wedding, and an off white dress for the reception/ walima… they were both practically the same colour. 
Going through the Bride Pics thread, there are so many awesome colour combos… i knew i should’ve listened to my mom and gone for a brighter colour.. :hinna:
Oh well, i think i’ll have to get married again… have a big party for our next wedding anniversary, which will give me the excuse to buy a lavish colourful lengha

Done my own shopping, gotten my own dresses (for all 3 days!), maybe had it later so i could've planned it differently (well gotten a chance to plan it period!)
But if this means that I have to live the newlywed life, ie repeat the last two years....i'd give all of htat up. Happy where i am now!
^ im guessing newly wed life is not fun....:)

^ Yes, I don't mean to scare anyone here but in many ways newlywed life has its ups and downs. But that's with every stage of life. Our circumstances were a bit different than most. You just have to make the best of each moment of your life together.

I would change the tent color :S The stupud people didnt do what I asked for :S and I had no choice at the end. What really upsets me is that, just becuase we come from abaord and dont have much experience or time to arrange weddings In pakistan, they think they can rip us off and cheat us! Oh it so upset me! Thank God It was only my Nikkah, when I have my ruksati, I'm definitely gonna be a bridezilla and ill go stand in that tent or whatever and make sure all the deco is done under my supervision! Seriously!

maroush, Im sure you looked beautiful...but do it all over again! Have a wedding anniversary and GO ALL OUT!!!!!! Oh, see now that is one thing I forgot about...anniversaries are another time to wear that special lehnga you didnt see in time to order!
Pyari si bachi - I read about what happened with your videos, it was you right? That is horrid of them. Did you get it resolved at all? What did he finally offer you?
Sara - It sounds like you and hubby are at a very comfortable point in your life. I hope I get there sooooooooooooon! As for the wedding dresses, people have commented a couple of times that you looked beautiful on your wedding (I missed the pictures). But you are right, apni pasand ki baat hi kuch aur hoti hai!
dolcevita - You are so right!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And you're talking to a fellow bridezilla right now. I am keeping an eye on everything...all of it will be under my supervision. :)
