Why not blame Pakistan for bombs as usual? Has the Hindustan Gov. finally realised they don’t achieve anything out of it?

Re: Not blaming Pakistan anymore?
The explosive used in a series of attacks on a train system in Mumbai was not RDX, forensic tests have found.
Police said the finding could turn the investigation away from terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Toiba, the Press Trust of India reported Friday. The police did not comment on the substance's identity, but intelligence sources said it may have been dynamite.
The absence of RDX has led police to believe involvement by Lashkar-e-Toiba or other large terror organizations in the attack is unlikely and the investigation may shift to smaller local groups, police sources said.
Officials also said Friday they were seeking a third suspect in the attack, a man known only as Rahil, the Times of India reported. The country's anti-terror squad had previously said that it was seeking two men, Sayyad Zabiuddin and Zulfeqar Fayyaz, in connection with the bombings.
The Mumbai bombings caused the deaths of nearly 200 people Tuesday and wounded hundreds more.

Attacks are linked to Pakistani-backed militants
By Rahul Bedi
(Filed: 13/07/2006)
The Bombay train bombings bore the signs of an Islamic militant group with links in neighbouring Pakistan, investigators said yesterday.
P S Pasricha, the police chief of Maharashtra state, of which Bombay is the capital, said the modus ope***** was "similar to that of the Lashkar-e-Toiba [LeT]", a Muslim insurgent group banned by India, Pakistan and America. Forensic specialists working at the seven bomb sites will be attempting to link the variety of RDX military explosive used in the attacks with those of recent LeT-linked attacks in Varanasi and New Delhi.
Besides the LeT, suspicion is also falling increasingly on India's banned Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI), whose cadres were reportedly used to "operationalise" the bombing, according to a security source. Working in tandem with the LeT, the SIMI are accused of executing similar strikes on other Indian cities, including the capital, New Delhi, where 55 people were killed last October.

**India warns Pakistan over terror **
Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has said that Pakistan needs to curb terrorism if the peace process between the two countries is to make progress.
Mr Singh was speaking after visiting victims of Tuesday’s bombings in India’s financial capital, Mumbai.
“We are also certain that… terrorist modules are instigated, inspired and supported by elements across the border,” he said.
Nearly 180 people were killed in Mumbai’s serial blasts, police say.
Mr Singh said the “acts of terrorism” were “despicable acts of desperate people”.
“We will leave no stone unturned in ensuring that terrorist elements in India are neutralised,” he told journalists at a news conference.

Re: Not blaming Pakistan anymore?
Any planned operation needs money and intelligence. I meet so many non-Indians and most suspect there was Pakistani intelligence hand, in a direct way or indirect way. Pakistanis may be using disgrunteled Indian Muslims , they have used in the past.
Pakistan will be the main suspect for any major terrorism. Look at London bombings, there was Pakistani connection.
Look at any major airport in US. If you have a green passport, invariably you are interrorgated in detail........... You have to accept this.

New Delhi (CNSNews.com) - Facing strong public pressure for a tougher response to terrorism following Tuesday's bomb blasts in Mumbai, the Indian government looks set to postpone peace talks with Pakistan.
Investigators suspect the attack was carried out by Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT), a Pakistan-based terrorist group allied to al Qaeda
Indian television news channel NDTV reported that the national security adviser had briefed the Indian cabinet about the "hand of Pakistan" behind the attack on the city's train network, which cost at least 200 lives.
Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf condemned the bombing and said his country was willing to assist with the probe.
But Musharraf's foreign minister, Khurshid Kasuri, prompted an outcry when he was quoted as saying that terrorist attacks like the one in Mumbai were happening because of the slow pace of talks aimed at ending a long running conflict in Kashmir, a territory divided between India and Pakistan and claimed by both.
India's foreign ministry said it was "appalling" to try to link terror against innocents to the absence of a resolution to the dispute between India and Pakistan.
Kasuri's remarks suggested that Pakistan would cooperate with India against cross-border terrorism only "if such so-called disputes are resolved," it said, adding that Pakistan should "take urgent steps to dismantle the infrastructure of terrorism on the territory under its control."
The two countries are longstanding rivals and have fought three wars, two over Kashmir. For the past two years, however, a peace process had been underway, and bilateral talks between their respective foreign secretaries were tentatively scheduled for next week.
Indian Minister for External Affairs, Anand Sharma, said the meeting would only take place when India was satisfied with Pakistan's commitment to peace and harmony in the region.
"I'm not saying we'll not talk - we will, but when is not yet decided," Sharma said. "We expect Pakistan to ensure that its territory must not be used to inflict violence upon India."
Public opinion polls have found more than 85 percent of respondents believe the Indian government is soft on terrorism and should give a decisive response.
A former chief of the Indian Army, General V.P. Malik, called for strong military action across the international border to smash terrorist groups and training camps operating on Pakistani soil.
Soft handling of the issue could send the wrong signal of India's intent and strength, he said.
Dr. S.D. Muni, Professor of International Affairs at Delhi's Jawaharlal Nehru University, said the peace process must go on irrespective of the security concerns, arguing that "there are forces who are out to scuttle the peace initiatives."
Mumbai, India's financial capital, has suffered six major acts of terrorism since 2002.
Political analyst C. Raja Mohan said that despite India's calls for Islamabad to curb cross-border terrorism and hand over leading terrorists, Pakistan had done little.
"A pause in the peace process is inevitable since India cannot pretend everything is all right."
Former Pakistani Prime Ministers Benazir Bhutto and Nawaz Sharif have both accused Musharraf of turning a blind eye to militant excesses in order to keep himself in power. Terrorist groups have targeted Musharraf since he cut ties with the Taliban in Afghanistan and sided with the U.S.-led war against terrorists launched after 9/11.

Mr John Pakistan also has been the MAJOR NON NATO ALLY and FRONTLINE STATE according to Washigton and London in war on terroism. We are fighting to get the terrorists out of our country. It is just India that is blind not to see this.Over the past few years Pakistan has caught more terrorists than and key suspects than any nation ever has.Why do you not appreciate something that Pakistan has actually DONE.The whole world has applauded us for our efforts in throwin the garbage out, why do you or India not do it?
Re: Not blaming Pakistan anymore?
FINALLY HERE IS SOMETHING THAT SEPERATES US MULIMS AND PAKISTANIS FROM INDIANS!
Pakistan offers assistance to India in probind Mumbai blasts
ISLAMABAD, June 14 (KUNA) After the finger was pointed at it for involvement in a series of Mumbai blasts that killed at least 200 and wounded hundreds of others, Pakistan has offered its archrival neighbor assistance in probing the deadly explosions.
"Whosoever has done this cannot be pardoned at all. So we condole with the Indian Government and I assure Prime Minister Manmohan Singh that the Pakistan Government and I myself are with him in any investigation that he wants to carry out," said President General Pervez Musharraf in an interview with a local, Business Plus TV channel on Thursday night, published on Friday.
He said this is loss of precious innocent lives. We condemn it and we are with the Indian Government to investigate anything.
About the peace process, the President said the two countries were progressing well on confidence building measures but had not moved much on the conflict resolution front. "Both the countries have extremists. We have them (extremists) on our side too," he said adding, "The problem on both sides is political and extremists are hindering the process of dialogue. But the leadership should demonstrate political will and proceed." His comments came a day before, India put off the review meeting of the third-round of Composite Dialogue Process (CDP), scheduled to be held this month in New Delhi.
"Prime Minister Maanmohan Singh is a positive human being. I think he has the desire to settle the disputes", said Musharraf adding that some forward movement has been taking place on the back-channel diplomacy. "I hope we take this forward. I and Manmohan Singh sahib will make all efforts to take it forward. But at the same time the Bombay blasts have taken place," he said.

I agree, everyone I have talked to Indians and non Indians, all believe the same.
The support is there from Pakistan (whatever kind of does not matter), otherwise why would they even have the terrorist training camps in POK.
Re: Not blaming Pakistan anymore?
instead of levelling accusations give me some proof that pakistan was behind this?
indian rhetoric is sounding very similar to arab rhetoric where they blame Israel for every thing
Re: Not blaming Pakistan anymore?
Of course, all minds have been aligned to believe that, thanks to ALQ and Kashmiris for that, but since India media doesn't discuss Maoists and Tamil Tigers with as much anger/intensity nobody would even think of them, neither the local political problems in the megacity.
Re: Not blaming Pakistan anymore?
Not Kashmiris, they are nice peace loving people, it should be the Kashmiri Militants.
Re: Not blaming Pakistan anymore?
sorry.....cant agree with this. Otherwise, chief ministers of every state wouldn't have been convened on a annual basis to deal with maoist problem where even resorting to force is being discussed. Tamil tigers have assasinated rajiv gandhi and LTTE is banned from indiawhich even srilankan government has acknoledged indias sincerety. without negative attitude of media towards these organizations, it wouldn't have been achieved.
Re: Not blaming Pakistan anymore?
You can only cry wolf so many times..
Re: Not blaming Pakistan anymore?
they r still blaming pakistan for these bombs thats the reason manmohan have delayed pak-indo peace talks
Re: Not blaming Pakistan anymore?
Indian is saying it has to stop the cells in Pakistan. You cannot have peace talk on one side and helping terrorists on the other.
It has happened to India before - does kargil ring a bell.
Indian PM was on peace talk in Pakistan while Pakistan was planning Kargil. Do you think India should trust Pakistan anymore.
Thats the reason for Pakistan being the prime suspect.
Re: Not blaming Pakistan anymore?
Tamil Tiger and LITE the story of terrorist gropus whithin India does not end hee.Remember a a hindu terrorist named Narendra Modi? leader of the Shiv Sena which still operates in India today?...it beats up couples on valnestines day as well.India t date has not caught Narendra Modi the pig responsible for 3000 deaths of muslims, he openly operates in India. Also the brahmindians, the RSS Ball Thakre and Al Qaida have epic centres in India.Indie needs to take some time away from blaming Pakistan and freedom fighters of kashmir and look inside its lungi.
