Northeastern US vs West Coast US

These r pretty much the only regions of the US that matter. I am a northeasterner well technically im in the midatlantic or south but maryland isnt the ‘real’ south. I’d have to say west coast better weather. Im not sure if the people r that much friendlier maybe just in SF and San Diego. But what I love about the east coast is the megalopolis from DC to Boston where it’s city after city so u dont get bored. la to sf is 4 hours. after seattle there is portland(but that’s not too urban) and sf is a long way. sd is next to la but that’s it. u still got lotsa old money in the northeast as well as the best privadamnte universities and private schools in the nation (mostly new england).

^ Not only that, the northeast region of the US is overall more advanced than most of the rest of the US in terms of infrastructure, economy, facilities, etc. (in additon to education, as you mentioned). I love the northeastern part of this country. I wouldn't live anywhere else in the United States.

apparently the northeast is less advanced in weather apparently. stay in the mid-atlantic part of the northeast especially dc/baltimore.

True..the weather isn't too great...in the northeast...the winters being too cold but we do see decent summers so I don't rele mind it...

Maryland/dc/ weather is almost exactly like the weather in jersey..i do a lot of going back n forth...(my uncle lives in maryland)

They sure are a lot more advanced up there... NASA launch and control stations are in the north east arent they? Where is one of the biggest and technicaly advanced medical center? I say Houston....oh, that is in the north east too.

Sweetpie, are these two examples enough or should i quote some more for "kunway kay mandaks" like you.

northeast is a fun area. I had a great time there. I love Chicago but sucky thing is that the other cities close to us are indianapolis and milwaukee...ewww..

the only things I disliked about the northeast ws delware and newjersey, they should pack those states up and send them to be next to oklahoma or new mexico.

other areas in US i like are bay area, southern cali, parts of florida and parts of texas.

waisay, all things being equal, i would move to hawaii anyday...find me a job someone?..

is it really in houston? I live near baltimore where johns hopkins is. every region in this country has great things but I think per sq mile the northeast may have more things. for example if i lived in houston i may not want to go outside for fear of rednecks. here I dont have to worry.

a to sf is 4 hours. after seattle there is portland(but that's not too urban)<<

seattle comes after portland, and not the other way around, assuming you are going from south to north

ah i was going from north to south. i'd probably never live in portland. i have a friend that lives there that seems to rave about it as though it were atlantis. one thing i can say about seattle is the traffic seems good for a city it's size. dc is the 8th worst city for traffic and baltimore is the 25th worst.

i propose wilmington should become part of pennsylvania and the rest of delaware should become part of maryland.

Good Point Vivek. While you are at it. Move Miami to Califonia and cut off florida and send it sailing towards Cuba. That'll teach 'em

oops scratch that. everyplace has rednecks. but to make a generalization, the rednecks arent as bad here and there are less (as a %) of them.

I doubt it...KKK is headquartered in portland innit?

well, seattle has one of the largest communities of tech expats, and the region is quite diverse ethnically. Personally, I think overall people are cultured, and I haven't had any race-related bad experience.

that's because you are dark pice of s**t Outy.

wait till you see some of the geeks from south india, they literally shine in dark.. i look like snow-angel compared to them

outy you said it man !!!
