^ Not only that, the northeast region of the US is overall more advanced than most of the rest of the US in terms of infrastructure, economy, facilities, etc. (in additon to education, as you mentioned).

not so...California leads the nation in social programs, economy and often it is what California does that is replecated all over the US in health care, govvernement programs and assessments. The bay area also has 2 of the top 10 hospitals systems in America.

I moved from the midwest...and often forget how liberal open minded California and Californians are...
I'm also constantly surprised by how much people know about other cultures...

is it really in houston? I live near baltimore where johns hopkins is. every region in this country has great things but I think per sq mile the northeast may have more things. for example if i lived in houston i may not want to go outside for fear of rednecks. here I dont have to worry.

vivek, maybe you want do some research on Houston's Medical Center...dont be surprised if you find out that it is rated as 3 or 4 in the world let alone US.
regarding your comment about the rednecks, you need to get out more. Being in Baltimore, I will be afraid that I will get killed by a gang banger or adrug delaer.

challo lo, yeh lo crime stats… now fight even more
