Re: Normal delivery after Caesarean (VBAC) in Karacahi
First of all, the doctor may have been right and the baby may have been in distress. You would have taken a very big risk, had you not let the doctor do a c-section then. Lack of oxygen to the baby can cause brain damage, who knows what other complications may arise.
I had an emergency c-section with my first child and I was being monitored. I dont know about Karachi but doubt that the doctor can just say without any monitoring that the baby is in distress. My baby’s heartbeat was being monitored when I was induced.
On the other hand, a friend’s siter (she is a doctor herself) once stopped some tests for her relative at Aga Khan hospital telling them the tests were not necessary (the tests would have only added to the cost) but again she is a doctor and knew what she was doing.
So I can understand your lack of trust but please do not just assume that any and every doctor wil try to do a c-section un-necessarily.
Also you need to know if the incision on uterus is also vertical or just the outside. Vertical incision on uterus has increased chances of rupture.
Sorry no recommendations for any doctor.
