I love all of Noor Jehan's songs when she sang for Khwaja Khursheed Anwar. One a program on PTV once, they mentioned that Khwaja refused to work with Noor Jehan after a while because he deemed her voice no longer suitable.

The show was a tribute to Noor Jehan so they made it sound like Khwaja made the wrong decision but I personally agree with Khwaja.

Noor Jehan's voice completely changed in the mid-60s and did not sound good when she tried to hit the high notes in Urdu. In Punjabi however, she had a great melody and sweetness to her voice.

But no matter what you think about her voice, she truly was once of a kind. She had her own unique style of singing, acting and most importantly, her wardrobe and makeup!

She was a diva, and there will definitely never be another one like her again.
