Good. I wonder if they will show it on their Global channel for USA viewers.
There is a beautiful 80s punjabi movie song that I have been looking for forever but can't find. Maybe somebody can find it for me on YouTube or something.
It is a chorus/dance song that goes 'Mera Mehboob Aya, Pajebaan Shor Paya ...'. It is filmed on Karachi beach.

I respect her, but only the first 10 or so years of her repertoire.

Can't understand what's so great about her voice (annoying) or her accent (terrible)...but then I'm just a layperson totally not qualified to judge such greats haha

I am all for everyone's right to their choice/opinion BUT you two seriously need help if you call her voice all that. Lolz, its another think to say its not of my taste BUT to call it such names is seriously wrong.

I like some of her songs too n she does have a nice voice though i am not a huge fan or anything.

I don't suffer from any complexes and nor do i think its uncool to like our own artists who are extreemly talented.

I like our own artists....like i like syra naseem's voice..or that new young girl who appears on tv n stuff....she sings nice.....

I don't mind naseebo at all.... she's just given terribly written songs to sing, she's pretty talented otherwise...

madam's abilities, I think is a little overstated. She reminds me of ghee-laden parathas seriously. Having said that, her work from 40s and early 50s is fantastic.

NJ is a legend. She was not just a great artist but a great person as well.

Btw, some of the comments here are in bad taste. We need to show some respect to our legends instead of taking digs at them.

If you don't like her voice fair enough it's your choice. But to call it annoying is totally uncalled for. She's called Mallika-e-Tarranum. The title says it all about her stature.
