Barbie Girl, I am pretty impressed on how you think and how you question things. This is what we call the role of Intellect and yes indeed it's your right to ask questions and seek answers that best contents your intellect. Please review the following Surah and Verses
(2:62) Those who believe (in the Qur’an) and those who follow the Jewish (Scriptures) and the Christians and the Sabians and who believe in Allah and the last day and work righteousness shall have their reward with their Lord; on them shall be no fear nor shall they grieve
“O humankind We [God] have created you male and female, and made you into communities and tribes, so that you may know one another. Surely the noblest amongst you in the sight of God is the most godfearing of you. God is All-knowing and All-Aware” (Quran 49:13).
2:177. It is not righteousness that ye turn your faces Towards east or West; but it is righteousness- to believe in Allah and the Last Day, and the Angels, and the Book, and the Messengers; to spend of your substance, out of love for Him, for your kin, for orphans, for the needy, for the wayfarer, for those who ask, and for the ransom of slaves; to be steadfast in prayer, and practice regular charity; to fulfil the contracts which ye have made; and to be firm and patient, in pain (or suffering) and adversity, and throughout all periods of panic. Such are the people of truth, the Allah.fearing.
There are so many responses you got from people. But it's totally upon you to gather all responses and satisfy your thirst in this arena. Sadya mentioned that non-muslims like Mother Theressa would get the benefit in this Duniya, but not in Akhria . What benefit did she get in this DUniya? and who are we to judge all this and be so sure. Let's talk about Jewish, they believe in GOD, they follow the Abrahamic Traditions, they don't associate anyone to be LIKE GOD what will happen to them? What exactly is Hell and Heaven? Is it really the ONLY way as Quran describes it or does those Holy words of ALLAH have deeper meaning. What I gather is the role of MAN, the Concept of MAN as why they have been created as depicted above by ALLAH. ALLAMA IQBAL actually said something similar
Dard-e- dil kae wastae paida kia insaan ko
warna ataaaat kae liyae koch kam na thae karobiyan
Karobiyan means farishtae (angels) And there are so many similar things that you find. I hope this will help you to some extent.
