non muslims praying namaaz in hindi films!!!

Jazak Allah

Can you please point out the source about conversions.

Stick firmly to the path of truth and do not feel lonely because of the few number of people who would join you, and be aware of the path of misguidance and do not be mislead with the large number of the
destroyed.

And from Allah is all help sought.

Before I try and tackle your points about innovation and resuscitation. Would you be so kind as to list your prescribed methods of prayer for me?

So as far as I know, I have not introduced anything alien to the religion of Islam. What I have done is follow an instance in Islamic history that was told by a learned person in a gathering. I could relate to that story, so I incorporated it within myself. I should elaborate on it, maybe you don't know it or could correct me if you know it better. A muslim was walking around 'talking' to Allah and the Prophet (I'm not sure which one) had noticed that he was 'praying' in such a way. The Prophet corrected him and later on was corrected by Allah. Allah had said that he found the man's constant devotion and rememberance of Him very appealing.

As you can see these aren't my own thoughts and they're not my imagination. Yes, I am willing to take the risk, thats the way I learn. I have asked and have been told with a lot of justification, otherwise why would I bring in something silly.

I'm glad your Imam gave you that tidbit of info. Atleast you are not ignorant as you were in the shadow of shirk. See when you came to me with that it is bid'ah, I didn't leave the discussion on Gupshup, I have verified it and found what I said to be true.

Thing is Lajawab, I'm not saying that the ways you have stated are wrong. I'm saying that there are the prescribed ways and then there is more that IS NOT innovated. Methods and intellect of each one of us are always in question, thats what makes us grow. You did not offend me, its just a discussion.

Have you never lifted your hands (or not) n just recited durood rambling on about your life and worries to Allah? That is a prayer ain't it? Do you feel enlightened? :-D Heh, that is in essence part of Dhikr.

When I said That 'prayer' **could be an equal* in comparison to someone who wakes up in winter, performs wudu and goes to the Masjid.* Emphasis on the bolded part.

I never said ONLY by talking to Allah one can reach the status equalling a traditional worshipper. Its a combination of the whole, not parts.

If you don't mind me correcting you, Moses was the only person in the world to talk to Allah and Allah talked to him back. There are many others who have and do talk to Allah but he doesn't talk to them back. There lies the difference.

I'm glad you seemingly find somewhat of a similarity between you and myself 8 yrs ago but I'm afraid that is not the situation. Far from it really. No one is imagining, no one is innovating, we are only challenging our own thought and perception in order to further ourselves. I would love to go on about this in person but for now lets stick to this threads topic.

If indeed Islam has been watered down by what I have said then May He cast His merciful decree on me in this world and in the here after. Ameen.
