His mother is half Italian and another version of desi, not Pakistani so his dadi of course named him that name that reflects his non-Muslim heritage. He’s spiritual but not relgious so it’s more because his dadi named him that not because of the religion it represents.

But I see what you all are saying. He’'s open to practice my beliefs with me. So I hope we get along.

Looks like both of you have similar outlook - not religious but both probably value your heritage. If he is open to practice your beliefs with you, are you open to practice his beliefs with him?
