First of all the real name is ‘Chaudhry Zafrullah Khan’ and not ‘Mirza Zafrullah’. Secondly He didn’t offer the Namaz-e-Janazah of Quaid-e-Azam because the Imam leading the Janazah was a non-Ahmadi Muslim. Please read my first post carefully, I clearly stated that Ahmadi Muslim can offer the Namaza Janaza of a non-Ahmadi Muslim provided the prayers are lead by an Ahmadi Muslim.
Secondly any Muslim not believing in the Promised Messiah Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad of Qadian is still a Muslim. We always call these people Non-Ahmadi Muslims but never Non-Muslims. I hope that it would answer your question!
We Ahmadi Muslims consider Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad of Qadian as the Messiah prophesized by Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) and a messenger of Allah. Thats make him the Imam of the time and the present age.
According to our belief, anybody who don't believe in one, made an Imam by Allah shouldn't not be an Imam leading us in the prayers. Thats why don't offer Namaz behind a Non-Ahmadi Imam.

This is extremely interesting. I didn't knew that. I thought Ahmadis always claim that they are as muslim as anyone else. Its interesting that they don't accept the vice versa.
First of all you have to keep in mind that Ahmadi Muslims believe Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad of Qadian a messenger of Allah, a prophet!
And its in the basic tenent of Islam, that a muslim have to believe in all the messengers of Allah without any distinction. If I would to ask you that would you offer Namaz behind a person who would reject Jesus or Moses as prophets of Allah but still claim to be a Muslim.
So according to our belief, we don't offer Namaz behind any Imam that rejects a messenger from Allah.
As accepting all the prophets of Allah is a basic tenent of Islam, you can say that non-Ahmadi muslims lacks there because they are not accepting a prophet of Allah. One can term any term, one chooses to but we Ahmadis use the term non-Ahmadi Muslims.
Fateh ahmed regarded mirza as on of the messenger of ALLAh…and stated that it is on of the basic belives of islam to belive in all messengers including mirza…
On the other hand he call all muslims (muslim is one who dislike mirza)non-ahmedi muslim…
make up ur mind friend…why dont u just say that u belive that all non ahmedis are kaffirs…
:topic:
split this discusion…from the main topic…and plz dont close it…
Is this "ahmadis can't pray behind a non-ahmadi imam" a commonly accepted part of Ahmadi belief?
I ask this because my family's circle of family friends includes a small ahmadi family. Several years ago, prior to his death, the circle of family friends also included an elderly scholar who was, prior to retirement, a very prominent member of the Jamaat-i-Islaam, including being an activist during their drive to declare Ahmadis as Non-Muslims.
When it would come time to pray, this elderly gentleman would always lead our prayers, and the Ahmadi family never shied away from joining the Sunni Muslims, praying behind the Sunni scholar as part of the same jamaat. The scholar held the position that the reverse situation would invalidate prayers, that prayers held if one of the Ahmadis was imam would not be valid.
Even though the gentleman has been dead for several years, the precedent that he laid down is still followed at social gatherings of this circle of friends. We Sunnis will never pray if one of the Ahmadis tries to lead the prayer, but the Ahmadis pray if one of the Sunnis leads the jamaat instead.
On the original question about the Janaza of Qaid-e-Azam, let me also add that to my knowledge many Ahmadies collectively said Qiad’s janaza gaib lead by Ahmadi Imams.
Jinnah is very much regarded in Ahmadiyya community; Hazrat Khalifa-tul-Massiah IV who passed away last year was especially fond of him and occasionally mentioned his contributions for Muslims of the Sub-Continent, and his principled approach in his Khutbas.
Maddy,
Yes, it is commonly accepted. Though there are exceptions.. let me give you one example.
When my brother first moved to a university town here in US, he was the only Ahmadi. He wrote to jama’at officials asking them what to do about Jummah. He was asked to find any Muslim mosque near by and offer Jummah prayers with them and the reasoning stated was that Jummah is more important. He went to a local mosque for about two months before Mullah sahib found out that he is an Ahmadi. Afterwards the Imam leading the prayers would make specific remarks about Mirza sahib in the Friday sermon, knowing my brother was there. So obviously my brother stopped going to that specific mosque and found another one. Luckily two other Ahmadis joined him the next semester and then they started having jumma seperately.
I have also heard (but don't quote me on this) that while performing Hajj or Omra, if you are not accompanied by other Ahmadi Muslims, you are allowed to pray behind whoever is the Imam.
Rejecting an appointee of God, by followers of the previous ones has happened before. Quran does not declare Jews as “kuffar” but just Jews. They are also called Ahle Kitaab and given the same status as christians after the advent of Rusoolullah (saw).
Rejecting (not-accepting) the status of a true claimant is straying from the right path “fisq”. Accepting one part of the religion but rejecting the other will fall under the same category.
The allegation against ahmadies is that we call all the muslims as Kafir is absolutely wrong. Only those who issue and accept the fatwas of Kufr against us (knowing that Hadith forbids the ahle Qibla, Ahle Kalima to be declared kafir) automatically declare themselves as Kafir. This is the hadith and not any fatwa issued against the opposers.
Saying prayers behind some one who is knowingly committing “fisq” and actively opposing the Imam of the time is not allowed.
I wanted to ask some questions related to this, as I received an email from an imam I know. It's about Ahmedi's and the belief about other muslims being kaffir. There are many quotes in there, as in references, so i was wondering about clarification on that. I have an Ahmedi friend but I dont want to ask him for other reasons.
But if I post that email here I dont want to be told that what I posted is going to be removed as it will create problems. So what to do?
Mods if you can advise, would be great, thanks.
And I dont know if stuff like that has been posted before because I dont always visit this forum.

ALl muslims commit this fisq...be it imam or some one else....as maddy quoted some jamate friend lead the prayers...who was fasiq according to u..........
what i percieve is u dont have hard and fast rule for this.....it is more likely a make shift set of rules........which can change in cases to improve ur image and show ur affection to mulims......
We dont allege qadiyanees as kaffir ..it is a fact not only known to ulema but is also approved by supreme courts of various countries including south africa...............

but, if u did miss out on this info, all muslims have agreed and established that all ahmadis r non-muslims and whosoever believes in the mirza ahmed qadiani and his self-acclaimed prophethood is no longer a muslim....
