I have to disagree with the first part. You forget that a man’s upper body strength is far greater than a woman’s. You smack him back, he’ll be dazed for a second, but then he’ll come on stronger than ever and will pummel you to death. It’s happened to women all over the world. The best thing is that if a man hits you, do not tolerate it. Call the police or leave. They advise women here in the US that if you have an abusive husband, don’t leave at that moment, make a plan first, call a women’s shelter if necessary, secure some money, and then leave. In Pakistan, the beating of women will continue because often times, other women (ahem, like the mother in law), encourage it and instigate it. The police is totally unreliable and criminal themselves, so until you get a major social change, the situation is dire. Women should not be afraid to leave an abusive husband, but the reality is that they are.

As far as the money thing goes, you are absolutely right. Women need to learn some finance, but what about those who have controlling husbands? I doubt those men would even let their wife near their accounts. Think about all the women who do that committee stuff–they have to pool with their friends rather than ask for an advance from their hubbies. Once again, we have to wish for or work towards social change.

And as for not respecting his parents…one way ticket to divorceville.

I dont know if you know this we got heck of a power from our waste and below. If we can take pain of child birth i am sure kicking guys guts is a lot easier.

If women is educated i dont see how she is not part of the finances. If you dont ask or state what role you play in married life ofcourse you wont get it.

Guys dont get me wrong i dont promote fighting with your husband or beating the crap out of him for no reason. But yeah if they give abuse give them so much at once that they will never ever even imagine to say a dang word again.
