Calm down, there. These people aren’t prohets! They’re open to criticsim. Scholars aren’t always correct, and there’s certainly a difference between a scholar and an average mullah. We have a right to call them up on their mistakes. As far as the “basics” go, most of us are very capable of picking up a book and finding the answers as we navigate through life. It ain’t rocket science, and Allah swt never demanded a clergy for us like the Catholics have.

what do u mean by an ‘average’ mullah …these ppl spend their whole life to learn about islam and they are not like some stupid scholers from west who just read few books in a year or 2 and tell their new version of islam:halo: …an average mullah is more educated then most pakistanis or muslim in general ..they aren,t some stupid ppl who don,t have knowledge about their surrounding:) …most religious ppl(pakistani) i have met were more intelligent and educated then an average pakistani i have met and i am talking about pakistani living in west so they aren,t that backward or evil like u ppl make them out to be :halo: …ofcourse ulemas make mistake but that doesn,t give u green light to curse them:) …
