The trash Mullahs, people whose only claim to Islamic knowledge is that they grew up in missionary madarassahs (because their parents couldn’t feed them) have banned female aid workers from the quake areas.
Read the news below with this understanding:
— The female workers either wear local dresses or at the most jeans or long skirts, which are not different from the flowery skirt like outfits of the local women. They certainly aren’t roaming around in bikinis that you can accuse them of not being sensitive to local customs.
— Maybe they drink when they are alone, maybe they don’t. But there certainly aren’t any parties going on in the area. What they do in private is nobody’s business.
May God rid us of these trash Mullahs, they consider women nothing short of sex objects. Going around in jeans is inappropriate because the “pious Muslim men” get urged to have sex with them. So much for their piety that needs all “temptations” removed. How about teaching these “Muslim brothers” to think of these aid workers as their sisters and mothers.
Re: No women aid workers in Pakistan quake area: clerics
It would be funny if it wasn't true. The first thing that comes to their minds upon seeing a woman is, "oh a sex object," must remove her from the area lest one of the pious Muslims want to have sex with her.
Re: No women aid workers in Pakistan quake area: clerics
And i wonder if a female victim needs medical attention or help, they'll release yet another fatwa stating that only female docs/aid workers may help female victims :o
Re: No women aid workers in Pakistan quake area: clerics
I wish Pakistani women rose up, and set up a walled, men-only city where all these Mullahs could live in peace without fear of being tempted by women, EVER!
Growing up in these madarassahs, they already know a thing or two about taking care of their sexual frustrations in the absence of women, so they should be perfectly happy there.
Re: No women aid workers in Pakistan quake area: clerics
The whole no women aid workers is BS especially when we NEED THEM but I think that we all have a responsibility to stop all the evil things that are going on. And I dont see why they should have to put up with alcohol or anything that is banned in pakistan.
Re: No women aid workers in Pakistan quake area: clerics
You are a perfect example of a blind follower who sides with the ones doing things 'in the name of Islam' reagardless of whether they have anything to do with Islam or not.
What evil things do you think are going on because of the presence of these female aid workers? NOTHING HAS BEEN EVER REPORTED.
If these (non-muslims) female workers, do consume alcohol, then that is not only allowed by Pakistani laws but also by Islamic laws. So what exactly is evil here?
If you love your religion, you must show the courage to stand up against things that are done in the name of your religion but are really damaging it.
We know what's going on here. The madarrassah lot are getting tempted by gori chamri mems going around in jeans, and oh yes, when they sit together and have a laugh, they must be drinking and making sexual jokes, right right?
This is an irony of course, most of the relief workers are missionaries, who are not really known for their debaucheries. You people make me sick.
Re: No women aid workers in Pakistan quake area: clerics
Now everyone not start getting constipated all at once...Please...Instead of raising a stink, look at it objectively...
In any situation, whatever conditions or atmosphere necessitates, you act accordingly or protest...Protest does not mean calling out names and calling for the deaths of those you disagree with, although no doubt many would love to inflict violence upon the Muslim scholars and many do...By snide remarks if not outright...
When the Muslim women of France were banned from wearing the headscarf, I am asking all here who are constipated, did they get a bowel movement when it was announced that Muslim women will not be allowed to work, study, go out with a part of dress that is part of their spirituality?
I can understand your anger at the Muslim clergy, for we have been trained like such good puppies to depise and start frothing at the mouth whenever a Muslim or Muslim clergy is involved that we become besides ourselves with fury...
It's understandable...We never have and never will stand to support other Muslims or their lifestyles and neither can we stand someone else doing it...We hate it...It is proper tolerance to ignore the slap of a Kaafir upon our cheeks yet call for the murder of somebody Islamically religious should he express his concern or opinion about something which we don't agree with...
I chalk it down to extreme ignorance and hypocricy...It's never about substance, it's all about image...
Re: No women aid workers in Pakistan quake area: clerics
A typical Lajawab post. He will not tolerate any criticism of people who are doing things "in the name of Islam," regardless of whether they have any Islamic merit at all, instead, he'll change the whole discussion into "you mod Muslims don't object to such and such actions of Kaafirs." No discussion of what is going on, and whether it has anything to do with Islam, rather finger pointing to "kaafirs" and calling us Chamchas and mod muslims. To criticize an action, "apparently" done in the name of Islam is tantamount to fighting against God.
Is introspection haram in a muslim society? Does Pakistani legislature have to make laws "in reaction" to what France is doing? Should we allow a family member to steal because you didn't hear enough outrage when somebody else in the neighbourhood committed a robbery? Does your piety depend on action of others? Not much of a piety then Mr. Mullah.

Re: No women aid workers in Pakistan quake area: clerics
Although your question seemed rhetorical, I'll bite anyway. Yes I was outraged that French government legislated against basic human freedom of allowing people to dress the way they want within bounds of decency.
Now what, I win? And why should French government's actions prevent me from discussing the situation in my backyard? Get rid of this "everything anti-Mullah is to defeat Islam" mentality.
You may not believe it, you are a bigger danger to Islam than any Western country can ever be.
Re: No women aid workers in Pakistan quake area: clerics
You know there is only one solution to this problem...as soon as a daughter is born, bury her... oops we are not that shallow anymore...ok ok, well lock her up in the dungeon and marry her off as soon as she is 16...and at her new home she should still be locked up, but come to think of it if the hubby locks her up who will do the damn house work, ok let her out just to do the cleaning and cooking than she should be thrown in the dungeon in the fear of being seen, and oh yes our society cant be that cruel...let her have 7 or 8 kids so she can pass the time.
Re: No women aid workers in Pakistan quake area: clerics
I agree with the mullahs 100% No wmen in quake aid in any form. As for aid to female victims, I suggest we turn some of these mullahs into hijdas and send them in. That way all females would be safe.

I am not siding with them....theres enough crap in pakistan as it is, i dont want one more thing added to that long list of things messed up there. Thats all.
Re: No women aid workers in Pakistan quake area: clerics
Beggars shouldn't be choosers. On one hand, you have a natural disaster that basically destroyed a whole region. These mullahs should be thankful that anyone would risk their own health and lives to help them. Talk about being ungrateful!
The problem is that women are totally helpless over there. The majority of mountain men couldn't give a rat's a$$ if a woman needed medical attention or help. She's in labor? Meh, let her give birth at home on the dirt floor. She's bleeding to death? Snuh, sucks to be you. Their minds are so dirty they can look at anything innocent and think only of sex.

Lajjo, there will come a time..when they'll run after these same "mullahs" for help.
