Re: No time for a Honeymoon …

there you go
Punjab govt unveils Rs 871 billion budget - thenews.com.pk

Punjab Education budget: 210 billion (24%)
Health budget 82 billion (9.4%)

Meray bhai i stopped believing tsunami sources after those fake postal ballot results, fake article of JC, fake twitter account of Safi, fake facebook page of Maulana Tariq Jameel, fake collection of tweets of various journalists, fake Sindh rangers guy being shown as punjab rangers and soooo much more

This KP budget is good, in fact very very good, there is really no need for us to take help of false marketing here, there is a difference in online marketing of a consumer product and that of a political party.

Re: No time for a Honeymoon …

Re: No time for a Honeymoon …

this is “Development Budget” and 210 is actual budget, development budget does not include salaries of staff, running expenses of existing facilities, scholarships etc etc etc

Re: No time for a Honeymoon ...

does that mean capital expenditure like money allocated to construct new schools, etc? would be interesting to see development budget of KP for education to compare apple with apple :)

Re: No time for a Honeymoon ...

yes that's what development budget is. when we hear all the time "cut non-development expenditure" it means cut in office maintenance expenses, transportation, entertainment, publicity etc. development budget is construction of new facilities, purchasing equipments for the existing ones, upgrading existing schools/uni etc.

Re: No time for a Honeymoon ...

As far as the provinces are concerned, they all have presented reasonable budgets, with everyone forced to trim down excesses, and forced to straighten themselves to a large extent. One may have political differences with PTI, but the credit for this widespread change goes to PTI. The change in protocol culture, thana culture and education and health spending as pressed by PTI has been adopted by Punjab and Sindh as well. Good job.
Now there may be little or no difference in the education budgets of Punjab and KPK in terms of percentage, but the real test will be in how and where this money is actually spent.
Punjab govt has in the past, spent a lot on things like Danish schools and laptops, steps which could have taken a back seat. The money spent on danish schools could have been used to populate the existing public schools. Instead, they chose to target a very small segment of students. Bad strategy, and if a major chunk of the current budget is going to go towards funding more of these danish schools, then I dont see any significant improvement in the overall education system of Punjab. Net enrollment will go up only when the existing public schools are made functional, and are populated with teachers. KPKs policies seem to be on the right track, but we have to wait and see whether they are implemented in full, and if they have enough revenues to fund their budget.

Educational reforms:

full report here: The good news from Pakistan - Reform
they touched areas where Punjab is lacking, south is the only area which could not catch up to the targets, rest of it all shows very good progress

Re: No time for a Honeymoon …

If its true lets see how much really is been spent on Education in Punjab

Re: No time for a Honeymoon ...

and lets stop spreading false information for once : )

Re: No time for a Honeymoon ...

No one is spreading false information

Re: No time for a Honeymoon ...

then what was that : P

Re: No time for a Honeymoon ...

That was true story

Re: No time for a Honeymoon …

Why this says Education is been allocated 72 Billions

Re: No time for a Honeymoon …

this is development budget, not complete. check the link i provided earlier to you.
also check this Analysis: In Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa budget, PTI lays out a strong start – The Express Tribune
from article

as i said earlier in reply to muqawwee123, dev budget does not include salaries, running expenses, scholarships etc, its just “development” budget. comparing dev edu budget of Punjab with complete edu budget of KP is comparing oranges with apples.

also by no means i’m saying that KP budget is not good or anything like that, it looks very good, it sets a standard, at least for KP education/health budget has never been this high, well done PTI for this. but there is no need to lie and belittle others. competition is good for the country, take it as it is, we should not try to change facts, as if they will change by creating few images

Re: No time for a Honeymoon …

Dude Im just comparing two budgets not lying

Re: No time for a Honeymoon ...

by the way, there is special package for Kalash Valley in KP Budget for this year! that's great
