I agree.
But I still think its quite odd to see women whose mothers probably walked around in sleeveless sarees forbidding their daughters from doing same decades later.
I've made many mistakes but just because I've made them doesn't mean my child has a right to make them as well and that I cannot tell her from my experience. Regarding sleeveless...well could start a religious battle but then we'd have to move this thread to another forum :(.
I guess at the end, people wear what they feel comfortable wearing. Who am I to judge?

Never worn sleeveless even when my arms were toned, just something about people being able to see my armpits freaks me out.
Auntys with flabby arms look gross when wearing sleeveless!!!!!!!

my question to those living in pak is why in the world do u people wear sleevless in the winter? i have seen many at weddings....... they r shivering with cold. but yet they have sleevless on. here in america people wear sleeveless or shorts when they r hot. in pakistan its just a fashion statement. it has nothing to do with the weather. lol!!!
i on the other hand would never wear sleeveless cause its against my beliefs as a muslim. besides it would never go with my hijab. lol.

hmm what I don't get is why Pakistani women think it's fine to reveal 90% of the arm but not all the way up to the shoulder?

there are some who wear really short shorts in freeezing cold weather with bootss..
@ what others said ... not very comfortable showing the armpitss.
