Yep, or is not 'in' anymore. Infact, to make shalwar kamiz more modern, they have come up with different versions such as tight kameezes and capris pants.
And more so than anyone else, it's the celebrities or their kids doing this.

but why should i pay $200 per month to watch those crappy channel, with no story, nothing impressive in their drama. bus giraffe numa larkia with chooti chooti kameezain.
ps. ager yahi sub dekhana hai to i am better off watching local channels.

kawak chala hans ki chaal wala hisaab hai hamari celebrities ka.... actors/actresses exist on the fringes of society.
Doesn't mean eveyrbody is like that but a lot of showbiz people are not accepted as part of majority because of their abnormal attitude.

In Pakistan we have inferiority complex. They thing that by wearing western cloths, adopting there life style and by rejecting own dresses and own traditions, they will become a great Nation like USA, UK and other developed countries. Now the style in Pakistan is to hate all local things, make fun of it ( even language, dress, ideas, traditions, food, way to cooking, way to talking etc) and ideas and love all western things without any logic. May Allah Bless us and give us Hidayat Ameen!

If u wear a normal length kameez with a shalwar, people ask "how old is that outfit?" just because it doesn't have slits and a bare-midriff.
People in Pakistan are calling it "fusion" dressing.. they don't say it's the "in" thing.

Shalwar Kameez is 10 times better than Arabic dress and 1000 times better than western dress. I love it. It is our identity and a great dress to.

i have been seeing even indian actresses in anarkalis or churidaars and simple shalwar kameezes (one example: karisma in nach baliye) lately, because theyre in style, but the pakistani grls just hv weird-looking, odd-fitting…rags? :aq:
