While I do agree with the crux of his speech. But how he would tackle the challenge I am not sure. Leave alone operation in NWA which his ‘ally’ is demanding for years, why not start by hanging militants whose cases have been decided by the courts?

but then his (PML-N) party is also in same bed with the extremists, so how can he do better?

At the end of the day its PMLN which will have to give a go ahead in Punjab, as that is their base camp. Any operation there would have a blow back which will hurt them politically. LIke I mentioned earlier the easiest thing would have been to hang the Punjabi taleban guys whose cases had been decided by the courts, one threat from them and government dropped the hangings citing “human rights”. In Pakistan only terrorists have human rights.
