Re: No more family goodbye, see-off at Pakistani Airports

Budhdha
Or budda
Or budha
Or buddha?

Surely one too many d or h?

Re: No more family goodbye, see-off at Pakistani Airports

none of the above. the correct transliteration would be:

buDDhaa = 'dh' = letter 'Dha' in Hindi.

D = letter 'Da' in Hindi

Re: No more family goodbye, see-off at Pakistani Airports

Why two Ds.

Re: No more family goodbye, see-off at Pakistani Airports

Bhima
Or
Bbhima

And why 2 A's
Bbhimaa?

It's intimidating when you arrive at the airport, worn out from the plane journey and there's just this barrage of family members trying to pull you into hug and there's some form Urdu being spoken but I can't the difference cause I'm just so damn tired and I just want to sleep for 42 hours. But yeah. Security comes first.

I didn’t know families still do goodbyes at airports. I guess it’s just me, my family be like woohoo it’s gone.
