How about charging people, and then using those funds to beef up security and surveillance? Does entry into Airport imply from street, or from the parking lot to the actual building? As some have already said, it would be very inconvenient if people aren’t allowed access to the airport parameters altogether. There has to be a better way. Maybe limit how close to the Passenger-Only areas others can go.

In Dhaka it’s just the terminal building itself.. Friends and relatives can come to the car park and right up to the terminal entrance but not get inside without paying extra..
